Would this marriage work with different religions?

A J.W. and a Christian. Please tell me also what could be done to make it work.

Any marriage can work if the two are committed enough, but it really depends.

One of the most critical questions is "what is important to me" for each person. When two people of different religions get together, they need to decide, how important is my religion to me. If both people say very important, then I would say it would not likely work out. However, if one or the other is a person who "attends church occasionally" but doesn't have strong beliefs, it can work out.

The problem with different religions is that freedom of religion, while OK for a nation, doesn't work well in a relationship. Each person sees things through their own "glasses" so to speak, and may interpret things differently.

If this were to work out, both individuals would need to have a strong knowledge and understanding of both religions. In fact, both should probably go through the "classes" that most religions have - together. Then they can decide from there -- is there something that is totally adverse to my beliefs in the other religion? Can I accept that? Can I accept the belief that I may have that my spouse (who I will grow to love even more in the future) may be headed for eternal damnation (if that is what you believe may happen)

Depends on who is which religion
Wife a JW is ok as long as hubby isn't a zealot because most guys don't care about the holidays
Husband JW isn't going to work because you are going to want to have a Christmas tree,and decorations, Halloween, etc. for the kids and the husband will not allow that in his house......The man of course is the head of the family and what he says, goes.
