I'm more curious as to how the guy got pregnant in the first place, and how the baby will come out : )
Seriously, though, some guys might be able to pull off pregnancy as well as any woman could. There would probably be most of the same emotions any pregnant woman would be feeling, and guys could finally know what it's like to create a life inside of them, and what a child moving around inside of you feels like. If guys could have the chance to become pregnant, I'd be interested to try it. I mean, I don't want children of my own yet, but I'd carry it for a gay couple who couldn't adopt.

It's so cliche to say "men wouldn't be able to hack childbirth which is why women are the ones who do it." Some men even go along with it because they mimic the sitcom jokes about men.
The fact of the matter is, I haven't heard of a single woman who really "coped" well with it. They get through it, sure, because it's not like the baby can just stay in there, but there is a hell of a lot of whimpering, moaning, screaming, puking, and emotions that go with it. My wife was doubled over in pain even with an epidural. I believe the same would be true for guys. We would pound our fists, squeeze our eyes, yell, vomit... whatever we need to do ease the pain.

If a guy COULD get pregnant, then he would be able to cope with the emotions and discomforts. The only reason women can do it is we were made to be able to. And if men could get pregnant, they would have been made to be able to cope also.

If it were left up to men to conceive and bear children, the human race would be in danger of extinction because the majority of them wouldn't make it past the first trimester what with the initial influx of extra hormones, nausea/vomiting, and mood swings. If they do make it past the first trimester, the sheer pain of one's pelvis spreading as the baby grows and moves further down into the pelvic area would probably be enough to make a man want to take his own life. Not to mention the foot swelling, back pain, constipation, diarrhea (sometimes one coinciding with the other)...nah, the average man couldn't cope at all!

They would be in a straight jacket or have a heart attack! I would sit in front of the tv with the remote in my hand and ignore my husband when he is feeling emotional just like he did me. he was good at getting my fruit at midnight and icecream too at 3 am at mcdonalds, but they wouldnt be able tohandle it. I dnt understand how a woman is looked at as weaker gender and thats not even true. They get cut shaving. break out the first aid kit.
and childbirth.. they wouldnt make it no way jose!

are you kidding? i've never had a baby, but per Robin Williams, he said he thinks it would feel like having a guy's balls pulled over their head. so..... i don't see child birth in my future. that comment makes ME hurt, and i am ball-less. lmao
it'd be like that movie where Arnold Swartzneggar was 'pregnant' and crying at the commercials on tv. He was a nervous mess.

Speaking as a man- it would suck! We would never be able to handle having children as well as girls do. Again speaking only for myself here- I would be an emotional nightmare!
