It seems like I can't make up my mind about what I believe in or disbelieve in. Has anyone ever experienced this? If so, how did you resolve this uncertainty. What conclusion about things did you come to? This has been tearing me up the past several days, and off and on many years. Just curious what others say about this. All repsonses are welcomed and encouraged. Thanks in advance.

I bought 3 felt Christmas stockings last year from Walmart. I was pregnant with my daughter and didn't buy one for her this year. They had quite a few different stockings and they seemed to be more modern. One has a Christmas tree on it and it is made of triangles. Anyway, I'm hoping to somehow, somewhere find another of these for my little girl so they all match. If anyone knows what I'm talking about or has any suggestions, thanks!!

(I know, I'm being very picky, it's her first Christmas!!!)

say heat flow is being modelled by the temperature in the xy-plane is given by:
T(x,y)=x*y - x

I've found the general directional derivative at the point (2,2), and the direction that temperature changes most rapidly from there, and now i'm being asked this:

If heat flow is a direction -∇T, express this as a differential equation in y and x and solve it. I'm sure I could solve it but I don't understand how you find the differential equation. how do you express it as one?

please help!

We just finished reading Angela's Ashes in one of my classes and we have to write a paper based on the book. I'm thinking about writing my paper on the poverty conditions in Ireland during the 1930s vs. the poverty conditions in the US during the Great Depression. But I'm not having much luck finding information on poverty in Ireland in the 1930s. If anyone could help me out with where to find information, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!! :)

A week ago I adopted a young female cat from the Spca. I choose a young female because she seemed friendly. I was trying to find a similar cat to the one I own. I have a young friendly female cat who I thought could use a friend. I been keeping the new cat in my bathroom while I am sleeping or away. I let her out daily to play with the other cat, but they seem to not like each other. Another thing now when I pet the new cat she will claw me when shes in my lap. She has done this three times, making me not want to pet her, fearing she will claw again. She also has been messing on the floor. I have three cat boxes around the house. I have one in the bathroom and two in the living area. I even changed the cat litter to a non scent litter. She does go in the box when she is closed in the bathroom. I know it takes time for cats to adjust, but Im not sure if she will adjust. I would hate to bring her back, but I was thinking about trading for another one. Would I being doing right?

I noticed my folks computer was kinda slow today, I put 2g of ram into it (2.5 total now), and fixed a speaker problem. I built the computer myself in high school and it's a real good one. The graphix card has been acting up all day, even after I reinstalled the driver it has glitches and is very slow and kicks me out of programs with the following message:

VPU Recover has reset you graphics accelerator as it was no longer responding to graphics driver commands.

The card is a 9800 pro.

Is there anything else I can do to fix this?
If not what card should I buy? (I play games every now and then but would probably play more if they ran smothe and looked amazing)

If Ephesians 2:8 says that we are saved by faith, which is the gift of God, and 2 Thessalonians 3:2 says that not all people have faith, then doesn't that mean that God didn't even give me a chance? If I don't have that gift, how can I believe? And if I can't believe, how can I be saved?
