Yes... it will be my 38th year of skiing.

I started at Powder Bowl (on the road to Alpine Meadows) at age 5... skiied constantly until I was 24, I worked at Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley, was part of the National Ski Patrol, and then my Navy career put a 10 year hold on seasonal trips. Though, I did steal some time in Hawaii, Japan, New Zealand, and Korea.

Our last FAMILY trip was Dec. of 1988... Alpine Meadows the day before my little brother was commissioned an Ensign in the US Navy... until LAST year when all 4 boys showed up at Alpine Meadows again.

I can ski... but DANG I'm slower now that my bones are older.

Yes...maybe a couple of times alpine, but mostly nordic. In southern Utah definitely. Maybe in the Sierra. Hopefully in the Cascades.

Lause...I thought that global warming completely melted all the glaciers in the Alps. And it doesn't snow anymore. That's what I keep reading, anyway.

I live in a swiss skiresort, our season started saturday, so from now on I will ski until april

Ya I'm going to Red River and Toas for sure because of where I live, and probably Wolf Creek and Monarch Mountain.

of course i am, its my fav thing to do, im gonna hit up copper, breckenridge, steamboat, vail, aspen, durango, telluride, winter park, prb park city too...i cant wait, already got copper down and ill be at winter park tomorrow!!!
