I have a close girlfriend who was married about 5 months ago. She is 25. Her husband is 55. About a year ago, she ended a 2-year long relationship with a married guy who is about 35 years older than her. She hasn't stopped talking to him since they broke up and she still tells him she loves him. I've talked to her about this and can't seem to get an answer that makes any sense. That's why I'm posting this question to see what others think. The guy she is married to has tons of money, which he spends on her lavishly, they live in an expensive house, and he treats her well. Quite honestly, I think the fact he is well off played into her decision to marry him because she is very insecure and wanted someone to take care of her. Her ex-boyfriend, although he was in a bad marriage, wouldn't leave his wife to commit to my friend. I think she is playing with fire maintaining strong feelings for the ex. What do others think is going through her mind? I can't figure it out.

I have heard that to be given a visa and allowed into Australia, they prefer people who are going to offer them jobs and skilled people they need and are short of.
I have heard they need teachers so they would easily except them, but do they need child nursery workers that will set up their own business?

Me and my friend would like to live over there and set up our own nursery business but I don't know if they would accept us.

Also, is Australia cheaper than England or not?

I am a former wife of a law enforcement officer. We dated during the police academy and married right after he was hired by a police department. It was during his second year as a cop that I noticed a change in his attitude and behavior at home. I can remember at one point telling him to stop treating me like I was a criminal. When I filed for a divorce, I was worried about what he would try to do to me and our daughter. I received primary custody and out of fear, declined seeking child support. Over the last two years, I have grown stronger and smarter. My question is this, male or female, what is your story when you divorced your significant other whom happened to be a law enforcement officer? Did his or her career make a divorce harder (knowing the judge who signed your divorce paper, tight with all the attorneys in town, et al). Thanks!

When they say 2 weeks, does it matter if I wear them everyday? For example, if I open a pack and within the 2 weeks I only use them 4 or 5 times, should I throw them away and open a new pack? Or is it for 14 days of actual use of the lenses? Thanks for your help!

I was at the Pharmacy and saw they have a 3 month supply of Hartz for only 7 bucks that is a topical medicine, similar to how Frontline is administered.

Is Frontline the best? What is the active ingredient besides the brandname? Everyone says Frontline is the best but I went to a vet when I brought my first dog that had a flea collar on and they suggested a pill, which I forgot the name of. So are there alternatives to Frontline in pill form?

And I ask again, Does garlic really keep ticks and fleas off of pets? I didnt hear quite a resounding Yes in my last question so am readdressing this question to see if it is a myth or truth. Thanks for everyones input in advance.

Many think that without Gandhi India would have still been a colony. An idea which I completely disagree with. In India the education system has a vociferously pro-left bias. It only teaches one part of history while completely ignoring the other part. That is why many Indians have a completely distorted and innacurate understanding of their own history. Any textbooks that are remotely critical of Gandhi or of the mughal oppressors (who were responsible for the largest genocide in the entire history of human civilisation - the murder of 100 million hindus across the tenure of mughal oppression) are not even permitted.

The leftists have brainwashed Indians with the belief that it was Gandhi's mobilisation of public support that caused the UK to reliquish India. However the real reason was that the UK had just come out of WW2 and it's economy was in tatters. The entire city of London lay burning in ruins and the UK could no longer afford to keep India even if it had wanted to.

It would seem that this room is preoccupied with war spending and Party affiliations... The right has been galvanized by a corporate media that spins almost entirely right Including NPR,PBS and CNN, despite the Michael Savages and Glenn Becks of the world telling you otherwise..
Then the folks on the left that defend themselves on here always from a position of weakness, accepting the Oh So Hateful "Liberal" Moniker ???? and then answering or making their own attacks based on this Left/Right Identity crisis...

Guess what, ... America is founded on an equal participation of conservative value and Progressive thinking and social Programs...
One without the other is out of Balance...

War is not the only Issue and Neither is The election in 2008...
Unemployment
The Shrinking Dollar and the escalating cost of living..
Misplaced Taxation
Health care
Homelessness,
Planet and Climate Change
Corporate consolidation of Media,

I am 22, a female, living in Europe. I have had eczema when I was a baby, it went away after 5 years. About two years ago I was sick and had treatment which I believe has triggered the eczema again. It's been two years now that the treatment is over but I still have eczema. I tried moving accommodation, changing work place. I avoid eating nuts, sweets, sweet drinks, and anything spicy. It is true that I drink alcohol sometimes but it is only beer and I smoke (but my doctor said that it does not have such a major effect on eczema). I try not to stress, and use minimum medications such as steroids or corticoid creams.

Please help, I suffer most from eczema on my face, physically and mentally. My face is all red and blotchy. My eyebrows are falling out even though I try not to scratch them. I am often depressed and do not know what else to try to alleviate the symptoms or cure eczema.

Thank you very much in advance for your answer, A.
