Women fart more actually. My science class in freshman year had some good laughs about this haha. The teacher told us that scientist have actually done a study on this by sticking a bottle or container of some sort to a man and a woman's butt and they have proven that women fart way more than men but us women are more polite about it haha Hope that answers your question =]

Sometimes it would seem that way, but truth is that we all fart about the same! You don't know how hard it is to admit that!! Men are PROUD of their farts!! If you were in a car full of women and someone let one slip, no one would own up to it. Now, with the same situation, except a car full of men, they would argue over who's it was! LOL This is horrible, when my husband and I are in bed, he will let one and then hold me under the cover till I almost pass out!! God I love him ( cause I have too!) he-he

Its not that men fart more. Women are just more discrete about farting. Men on the other hand don't care and just let it out.

hmm i guess not..
you see the reason that men fart more than women is is because according to them we women complain alot and talk alot so im guessing that we just never have enough fart fuel in us to let it rip....
where as men being the silent creatures they are always have plenty of fart fuel so in order for them to not get sick they frequently have to let that excess fart fuel out of thier butts.

Do they? I have my moments. lol I am more discreet about it though instead of letting it rip when around anyone. But to be truthful, guys are born with the fart gene. They like to fart, they like to laugh at them or anyone who does it, and they like to make jokes about them. The louder the better. Wait. My daughters act like that too. So maybe there is nothing to the myth.

socially speaking women fart less because it is not 'ladylike'
so it is done surreptiously

They dont... Woman are sometimes just more discreet about it. I for one think it is the funniest noise the human body makes and should be celebrated with laughter everytime.. I am a non typical woman. But I am typical in the way that I dont want to breath someone elses stink..:)
