Hi all, I have a semi-automatic handgun that I keep in a gunsafe, and I was wondering if there are any downsides to keeping an EMPTY magazine in the gun for longterm storage?

I would keep the magazine and the pistol side by side, but since the gun safe is on the small side, I was considering inserting the magazine into the gun for longterm storage. Are there any adverse effects this might have on springs inside the gun, etc?

I was watching mythbusters tv show tonight and saw a plane sitting there with the engines fully powered, and it didnt go anywhere. Why is that im just curious, they have the power to make it take off but not to make it move when its locked or whatever is holding it back from moving.

Well beth has been my best friend since 4th grade! &nick has been my best friend for a 6months but we have been friends for a year and i REALLY liked him last school year.
over the summer i met ryan nicks best friend & we really hit it off so i started liking ryan & nick & i just got closer & closer which was fine w/ me. but then in like july nick started REALLY liking beth & beth started liking him beth was dating this other guy andy but she never really saw him&itwas REALLY getting to her so i was like well mayb it would b good if u and nick did go out... & the night b4 it happen i got really mad! idk y but i did & now what me and ryan dont talk as much (long story) i feel like my best friends have ditched me for each other! and idk is that just mean or do i really ahve a reason to be mad they are always talking and when im around the have to kiss and i no i dont like nick anymore but i just dontl ike watching my Bff's making out! what should i do am i wrong for not likeing it?

me and my gf have been going out for 9 months, and we both love each other alot. she cheated on me once early in our relationship, but she confessd to me in tears and i forgave her.
(or at least i think i did) . i try to forgive her, but i dont kno if i have.
she still sees the guy around and talks to him after i told her that id prefer her not talking to him at all. she says she knows and will try to stop talking to him, but she still does ocassionally , and i think its natural for me to get pisd off bout that.
i dont get pisd off at her, but i do get in a pisd off or anoyed mood.
any advice? its been 6 months or so since it hapend, and i still get frustrated at times, if u guys think i should just forget bout it, tell me how cuz i dont kno.
