I am 16 now and my aunt said that she will take me anywhere in the world once I am 17. Originally I was leaning towards New Zealand, Vietnam, India or Japan, but recently I have taken an interest in Eastern Europe. I would like to go during the winter, because I love the snow, but would that be sensible? I don't want to go on a vacation and not be able to do anything because of inclement weather.

Anyway, the cities/countries I've been considering are:
Zurich, Switzerland (I know, technically western Europe)
Vienna, Austria
Croatia
Budapest, Hungary
Prague, Czech Rebublic
Poland
Amsterdam, Netherlands (again, not eastern)
Sofia, Bulgaria

Would these locations be, well, safe for a 17 year old girl. I don't want to sound stereotypical, but I know that some of these nations have legal prostitution and can be violent at times. Also, would you consider someone of my age to enjoy a trip like this, or do you think it may be more suited for someone a bit older?

I speak english, obviously, can stumble along in French, read it much better than I speak or understand it spoken to me. I can get by in Mandarin fairly well. I know a few words in Spanish but wouldnt say I can speak it. I used to understand quite a bit of Italian, my friends and neighbours in the old neighbourhood were Italian.

I always wanted to learn Norwegian, but the next language I learn will be Japanese.

I've been married to my husband for 11 years. He cheated on me in the earlier part of our marriage, and I forgave him. He's done it again, and he lied to me for three days straight about how far this relationship went. I prayed to God that he would touch my husband's heart and make him tell the truth because the evidence was just stacked up too high against him. He confessed later that evening and said that he's been heavily involved with this girl since April, and he and she were sexually intimate. I'm hurt, devasted, and angry. I feel entrapped in this marriage because for one I don't drive. Two. I have no family around here besides him. Three. I'm dependent on him and can't phantom the idea of doing stuff alone. Yet, everytime I look at him, I get a gut-wrenching sensation, and I think about the girl he would lie to me and his children to go and lay up with. I'm scared to death of divorce. What should I do?

What does Mathew 17:21 say in your Bible?

"Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." Matthew 17:21 KJV.
This is a very important procedure that Christians would have to address in certain situations. This spirit is only driven out of a person by fasting and praying. There is no other way for it to be done, so I think all would realize how important this would be.

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children." Hosea 4:6

My cousin recently went to her college counsler to talk. coming out of the room she was told that she is bi-polar, a threat to society, and needed medication. note: she is 18 and her father has passed away in late august. she gets really depressed about it and cries and usually it only takes talking and conforting to get her through it. she has never hurt anyone or held in any agression. i feel that what the counsler told her is every unethical of her and an abuse of her position. who is the counsler to say that a grieving child is threat to society when my cousin just went into there to talk to someone? what can be done about this situation i am very angry that this had to happen.

My red doberman, Sapphire, is about 16 years old and I noticed recently she has moles and growths that are multiplying and getting larger. Does anyone know if this is cancer? My vet acted like we should be thankful that she is still with us and he was not concerned with the moles she had at that time but they have multiplied and gotten larger? Any thoughts or experiences? She is precious...

What do you do when your lover goes out of town and not only has sex with the opposite sex, but the same sex also (in a separate incident). Anger, hurt and disappointment describes my situation. I can't leave because of finances and plus I do love him. I know he has an accelerated sexual desire, so I may not be able to blame him for his inherent disposition. However, with my issue with this is taxing my mind and I do not know how to channel my emotions. He said he was sorry but said he could not ask for forgiveness because he said I would not give it to him. If I were in his position, I would be on my knees begging for forgiveness, yet this is not what he is doing. He seems to think it is OK and says that I should have known that he was that way. I'm not asking what you think of him, but rather what you think I can do for myself to let this issue go. Breaking up is not an option in our situation so any responses to that effect will not be considered as best answers.

17 years ago he loved me and never said so. 17 years past we speak on the phone and confess our feelings for each other as if they were yesterday. We spend hours and days talking. We are totally convinced we are soul mates, true love given a second chance. One problem he is a witness I am not, he is married (no children) he admits he did not marry because he fell in love. He never stopped loving me. He is very involved in WTS he is an Elder. He says he will live to be a miserable old man because he cannot leave. He says I will never understand. I don't. He begs me not to fight for him for fear if I come to him, he will walk away, as he knows he wants to be with me. I love this man so much how do I give him up? I feel after 17 years we found our way back to each other for a reason. Is it fair to his wife to not admit they are not "one." He has not committed any adultery. Does this relationship have any chance? Does he have to be disfellowshipped?
