My boyfriend and I are going to be at Disneyland park on Christmas day, and we plan to get there the second it opens. Does anyone have any REAL EXPERIENCES of being there on December 25th and know how packed the park gets (long lines, grumpy people, etc)? No opinions or guesses please, just real experience.

i was playing around with some toy magnets and trying to see what all it would stick to and i put it up to the computer sceen and it made the sceen move and it would change colors wherever you moved the magnet...why does it do that and will it mess up the computer?

I have such an awful sweet tooth, and I hate it so much... I have like 30 pounds to lose from my pregnancy but I can't seem to just quit eating sweet stuff... How can I get the will power to start eating healthier... I can't stand it anymore... I know I'm not alone in this... hellllp

I work at this amazing independent bookstore. I've been here for 14 months and I absolutely love my job. They know I'm gay, have no problem with that at all and we are all like family. The only drawback is that I don't make enough money to pay my bills. I just got a small raise but it still isn't enough. There is also almost no room for any kind of growth here. After years of applying, I've finally been offered a job at the university in town. My pay is going up dramatically, I can go back to school for free, the benefits are amazing, I'll get 2 weeks paid vacation at Christmas...it goes on and on. I'm just struggling with the fact that I have to tell my boss tomorrow (whom I ADORE) that I'm leaving in two weeks. Christmas is our busiest time and my job is very specialized. I feel like a traitor even though I know this is a great opportunity for me to improve my and my family's life. Any advice?

I am a young man (early 20s) suffering immensely from sexual attration to men. Thus far I have never acted on my attractions and never wish to do so.

Instead, I am hoping and praying I will be able to overcome these attractions and be straight. I know I cannot function as a homosexual, because for me the shame, guilt, STD risk, and religious consequences are too great for me to ever be happy in this way of life.

So do you believe change is possible? And if so, how can I change?

This question is serious and desperate and I do not mean to cause anyone offense.

OK I know its an odd thing to collect but it stanted with a Nvidia TNT & just grew from there. Now its over 30 cards & growing. All cards work perfictly & have all the drivers on 1 CD. Some are just junk so to speak as they are not good for anything I mean they work but not a collectable or worth anything but others are were top of the line in there prime. Some of my Nvidia cards are: Geforce2 GTS, Geforce2 TI, Geforce2 ULTRA, Geforce3 Geforce3 TI200, Geforce3 TI500, Geforce4 TI4200, Geforce4 TI4600, MX440 8X, MX4000. Some of my ATI cards are ATI 7500, ATI 8500, ATI 9600PRO, ATI 9800XT, ATI X800SE, ATI X850XT PE, ATI X1600XT. I have 2 3D prophet cards a 7000, 7500. Some of the brands are Visiontek, Tyan, Hercules, Leadtek, PNY, Powercolor, Sapphire. I was thinking of listing them on EBAY as a lot & wanted to get an idea of what I should ask. I am sure I would get more if I listed them seperatly but that would be a hassel as there are so many. Do you think anybody would want them?

My 19 year old son is getting married soon to his 19 year old fiance. She is still studying at College and he is in the Navy.
The reception is costing $90 a head and they are having 270 guests.
Do you think this is too extravagant?
They don't even have a home/apartment to rent or buy.

He comes home from the navy on the Friday night, gets married on the Saturday and goes back on Sunday to the Navy for a week
before they can start their lives together.

I'm concerned they are both too young.
She works two days a week as a swimming instructor on a minimum wage .

Her parents are paying for their 250 guests and my son pays for the 20 guests. I'm concerned they don't understand the value of money.
Am I worrying too much?

Yet the Harry Potter series was read by most children?
The new English versions of the bible are easier to read and I realize that the older versions were hard to understand.
I thought because it was such a large book, with a lot of reading. But the Harry Potter books are quite large and the reading is very complex.
Could it be that parents are not stressing enough that the reading of the bible is very important?
It tells of man's history and where we are in the stream of time and what the earth will experience in the future.
Looks like that would be of interest to children?
Why do you think it isn't?

Many non-believers bring up myths of osiris and so forth who they try to compare with Christ. Of course someone who hasn't experienced Christ working in there lives wouldn't understand. But why do they not bring up the thought that osiris and others were more likely false fables that are used to deceive those who have experienced the wonders of Jesus?

i walked away from my amp and the chord shot out and as i go to pick it up i notice that the tip was bent on the end input device, ive tried to bend it back but nothings worked, its not budging, im kinda strapped for cash so i cant just really go get another one, so any idea on how to fix it?

While he could have decided to support a limited government that is limited to defense and other functions which people generally consider to be government functions, but instead he laid out exactly how these functions can be privatized and why they should be privatized. Rothbard was a friend and supporter of Ron Paul, though Ron Paul is nowhere near as consistently libertarian as Rothbard was.

sounds harsh. but i dont.
he was never there when i was growing up.
and even though he and my mother are still married, he has had many affairs, and i have a half brother.
when i was ten, he decided that me and my mum should go live with him in ghana. then a year later, it was zimbabwe we were moving to.
he called me fat, even though im underweight; he let me put my trust in him, then betrayed me.
now im back in scotland. and he's coming for xmas. my mum seems genuinely happy, but im dreading it.
how will i cope? i cant speak to him, i hate him that much.

A married couple who both make $33K a year. They have about $25K in debt on student loans and a car (no credit cards), which they are slowly paying down.

They are now pregnant and the wife plans on staying home once the baby is born. This was a mutual decision be the wife and the husband. This will mean that they will now be living on half of their income. This also means they will be short on their bills (monthly) buy about $580.

The husband is going to get a second job while the wife is pregnant to start saving money. Once the baby is born they will pull $580/month from that savings. If the husband's promotion doesn't come through by the time the savings is almost out he will get a second job again.

What is your opinion on this situation?
