I have such an awful sweet tooth, and I hate it so much... I have like 30 pounds to lose from my pregnancy but I can't seem to just quit eating sweet stuff... How can I get the will power to start eating healthier... I can't stand it anymore... I know I'm not alone in this... hellllp

I agree with Momo. It's so hard with little kids, I have two now, but whenever I get into a decent habit of excercising, I eat much better. When I try to just focus on eating better, it doesn't really ever work. Just get out there and excercise, go for a walk, do videos, whatever. My weakness is Pepsi. I'd go for a great walk, but if I wanted a Pepsi later, I'd look at the can and say to myself "Is drinking this Pepsi really worth wasting all of the calories (and then some) that I burned off during that walk?" and it usually isn't. Sometimes, it was worth it, and I drank the Pepsi. But it usually wasn't worth it. Good luck~

Another thing that helps me is to eat more protein- lean meat like chicken breasts and lean beef. Oatmeal. Peanut butter. Low fat cheese, esp. light string cheese. Etc. Eat regularly, and always include a protein. I swear, when I do this, my mind gets sharper and I don't seem to have the "lows" that make me want something sweet. My body doesn't feel starving enough that I resort to just eating whatever's around.

I wish I had some advice for ya honey, but all I can say is I understand how you feel. I went all out when I was pregnant with my son and I STILL have not lost the weight I gained with him. And now I am pregnant again! I know better than to go all out though. All I can say is that exercises really helps. Its hard with young ones, but just walking has always made me think twice about the sweets cause I feel so good afterward.

Why fight it? You like cake, eat only cake all day every day for a couple weeks. You'll get sick of it, and eventually you wont eat very much of anything all day.

I love chocolate, thats how I lost weight. I just decided i wasnt going to fight it. I ate all chocolate all day for a while. You can only eat so much of the stuff before you're just not hungry for anything.

Worked like a charm, after a while I was so hungry for healthy food I went from chocolate all day and night to salads and fish lol.

What worked for me was to give in. Have ONE piece of candy, it beats fighting it and ending up binging ont eh entire bag. Or else, its called willpower and you have to just DO IT.
