Do you think the Germanic nobles (England, Prussia, Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Russia) or the Celts, Latins, Slavs, Jews, and Muslims are more to blame for the French Revolution and Bonaparte? Would the French Revolution have happened if there was no Muslim conquest of Europe in the 8th Century?

If we went to an alternative fuel of specifically a fuel cell that uses water, how would the govenment tax it to pay for roads and what not? Where I live, the cost of off road diesel $1.00 less per gallon because it isn't taxed. How would the government make that money up if we could just go to any water source and fill up? How will the make up the hundreds of millions of dollars they'd lose? I don't think a dollar per gallon tax on water would work because its also a neccessity to live. Do you think not being able to get around the tax issues has limited the governments involvement in finding alternative fuels? I know theres been government fuel cell projects going on since the 80s, but its hard to believe nothing practical has come out of it yet.

I have yet another stray cat in the yard. I do not know if it is a drop off, or a lost pet. It appears to be not yet a year old, though almost big enough to be. Skinny as a rail, friendly enough but shy. It has long fur so I cannot tell if it male or female, and I am thinking it must have some illness like parasites since it has obviously been outside for quite some time.
I am willing to get it to a vet and have it gone over completely, but have no where to keep it. It cannot be in the house as we have three other cats, so does anyone have any ideas where I can take this to get it adopted out? Three different animal hospitals around here all told me they are full, and do not accept full grown cats. I told them it looked like a kitten but bigger. It's cute-it looks like Sylvester the cat. I really don't want to leave it outside as when it cries, it's like ringing the dinner bell for the coyotes.
Any suggestions, please.

I went on a 3 day confrence in Chicago and while I was gone, my significant other must have called me 10 times a day. He called me in the middle of confrence meetings, called me when I was out to eat with co workers, called me when I was sleeping.
Now I am home. He lives 1 1/2 block away and he has totally ignored me. He quit calling when I got off the plane and tells me he is exhausted from work and slept all day yesterday, all nite last nite, all day today and is planning on napping before he goes to work tonite again.
He has done this same thing over and over again. He will start calling me tonite at work, but when I get home he will not call me again. Whats his problem?
I call him, but only once a day and usually when the whole day is tied up and I have something to say.
Its just ridiculous to me that I live about 1/10th of a mile from him, but he acts like I dont exist when I am home.
