People are quick to complain that interest rates were high under Labor but they forget that Labor's economic reforms brought interest rates down to 6.75% in 1996. After 11 years of Liberal government they are still 6.75%.
What exactly does Howard take the credit for? Record housing prices where no average Joe can afford a decent house anymore? Workchoices? China feeding our boom?
Will Liberal voters see through the lies and finally realise that Labor started the talks with China and they can manage the economy because they have managed the economy well under extremely difficult circumstances in the past...not under the good times like Liberal have now thanks to WA and China.

Why does she need to CONTROL? Why does she even want to CONTROL? She like DECIDES what I buy and she is like SO annoying! She wants discipline and bla bla bla like why the heck does she teach me this stuff that's what I learn in school and she's like wasting her breath for nothing. And when I tell her this she nags at me! And like she asks me to do something and then I say fine I'll do it so I like was switching off my computer and then in 10 seconds she said "can you quickly do it?" Like what the heck is wrong with her?

Hello,
My sister started to work in the UK 2 weeks ago and her employer has not asked her to sign an employment contract form.
She finds it a bit strange, and her boss tells he will send a letter to her later (the contract?) but it's not urgent and not mandatory.
In France (where I come from), it is mandatory that the employee and the employer sign a employment contract form.
Isn't it the case in the UK ?? Do you think the situation is normal ? Any advice ?

My fiance will be hyphenating his last name after we get married. He is an awesome guy, what can I say.

I didn't wan't to change my last name for a bunch of reasons (since I'm the only grandchild I wanted to honor my grandfather by keeping his name), but my fiance said he would take my name if I would take his in addition to mine. It's a team effort and we're both happy.

So, my question is, for the reception, will it sound odd or confusing to be announced as "Mr. John Smith Doe and Mrs. Jane Doe Smith"?

Should we be announced as simply "husband and wife"? Or announced using our own names (i.e. Mr. Smith and Mrs. Doe)?

i do taekwondo and my idol is steve terada hes a xtreme martial artist and I've been trying to mimic hes style of xma (well the ones i can do anyway) and i was just wandering can i do xma style through taekwondo training so far I've been trying to do gainer flash kicks and butterfly twists and any tips on xma or taekwondo would be helpful thanks
