someone sweet / kind / caring / good listener / independant / happy / come from nice family, good background / someone who has their own life and interests / someone who wants to take you out and treat you well

I am a guy, But I feel I need to answer this....I have read each and every one of the answers to this question....Not many mention anything about looks...Which indicates to Me anyway that looks are not that inportant...Now, I am not a great looking man, But I am kind, Considerate, Friendly, And above and beyond everything else A Gentleman, And funny enough, I have not seen, Little known touched or tasted Female flesh for over a year now...I wonder why that is when Women keep saying "Looks are not that important"....It is because Women Judge the book by the cover and do not take the time to find out if there is a nice story inside....I know this was addressed to the Women in here,And I apolegize to You for butting into Your question....Just needed to get that off My chest, & Your question and some of the answers seemed like a good place to unload :-)

Most young girls always say they want someone who is funny, good looking, dressed well, etc, etc.
Take a look at the slightly older girls, 22yrs and older, the girls who've been in a relationship or two so they know what's really important.
They all only want just one thing, a guy who wont cheat on them.

my boyfriend is my ideal guy, hes not skinny but broad which i love because he keeps me warm in bed and wraps me up in a cuddle, he's funny, sarcastic, goofy and not scared to take me on in a playfight, he's loving and most of all is great in bed ha! i think if you have these qualitys you will go far ha! nah just be yourself that's all you can be and don't cheat because theres nothing worse really.

a pulse, ha! na i like people who are genuine, who dont pretend to be something that there not. I also like a guy who isnt a complete walk over, confidence is attractive.......but not too much,nobody likes a big head lol

Good manners, like holding the door open, a coat thrown around my shoulder if I'm cold, offering to pay for the cinema.I look good old fashioned politeness in a man.

Money is so not true whoever said that is an idiot.
What i like in a guy is a great personality and good humour so i never get bored, also if they look good and present themselves well then i want to know more about them which makes me listen more to what they are saying. If a guy is polite and pays compliments that also good cause it makes the girl feel better about themselves which is what every girl wants....

personality,and a big strong body (my hubby is 20 stone but not fat hes all muscle)i dont care about looks because if they are good looking they treat you like chit
