Is that why they don't like science so much, as all the outside reasoning doesnt support the bible, only the bible suports the bible? is this a circular argument?

This is my 2nd month TTC. We used an OPk this month and had sex at all the right times. Or I guess maybe we didn't. I was due to get my period on Nov. 13th and it came today (4 days early.) I have a normal 28 day cycle sometimes 29. So why did my period come 4 days early? Is it normal? I'm just really upset right now because I thought this was the month. I just don't understand because everyone I know had sex once, they weren't even trying and got pregnant. Why does it always happen that way?

There was a blonde who found herself sitting next to a Lawyer on an airplane. The lawyer just kept bugging the blonde wanting her to play a game of intelligence. Finally, the lawyer offered her 10 to 1 odds, and said every time the blonde could not answer one of his questions, she owed him $5.00, but every time he could not answer hers, he'd give her $50.00. The lawyer figured he could not lose, and the blonde reluctantly accepted.

The lawyer first asked, "What is the distance between the Earth and the nearest star?"

Without saying a word the blonde handed him $5.00. then the blonde asked, "What goes up a hill with 3 legs and comes back down the hill with 4 legs?"

Well, the lawyer looked puzzled. He took several hours, looking up everything he could on his laptop and even placing numerous air-to-ground phone calls trying to find the answer. Finally, angry and frustrated, he gave up and paid the blonde $50.00

The blonde put the $50 into her purse without comment, but the lawyer insisted, "What is the answer to your question?"

Without saying a word, the blonde handed him $5.

I was scared at first. It was very wide, and very long, and it angled straight up. I decided I had to try it once. I slowly and carefully eased myself onto it. It felt weird at first. Then I got used to it. I went up and down, and up and down on it. I was really loving it.


Now I ride on escalators all the time.

Since there are so many retarded questions about this rookie who has done NOTHING yet, and is not going to be as good as everyone thinks. Let's put a REAL question up. I say Ellsbury has an average season of .285 w/ 10 HR and 40-50 RBIs. He'll steal 20-40 bases a couple times in his career, but he'll basically be a Coco Crisp, or Shannon Stewart clone. At best he will be platooning or doing the Juan Pierre thing.

Career stats: 15 years .277 BA 159 HR 688 RBI 900 Runs 316 SB and possibly a Gold Glove. The last 5 years of his career he'll be getting less than 400AB's a season and he'll fade away into nothingness.

Who out there thinks Ellsbury is WAYYYYYY overhyped and the Red Sux are in for a big letdown. There are tons of better young athletes out there like Yvonni Gallardo, Tim Lincecum, BJ Upton, and Evan Longoria to name just a few. Just because it's Boston people on jumping on the bandwagon that's bound to collapse.

Who else sees the obvious?

I really want an ipod nano video. But most of my friends that have diiferent model ipods, have told me theres have broke or have virus's etc. I know that it the first year there is a warrenty, and apple can send me a new one if something goes wrong, but what about the battery life? ok so i just finnished putting all my ingredients into the blender with the yougurt and all and on the inside of the lid i found this little whitish kinda greenish fuzzy stuff (mould)

so i decided not to use the lid, then i discovered on the inside, at the rim area there was a tiny bit of mould there.

i wondered if there was mould at the botom in the inside but i already put the ingredients in so i just decided to mix it after i cleaned the rim.

i have the smoothie in the freezer right now(i like it super cold ) (after i poured it there was no sign of mould)

should i eat it?

i really want it, i used the last of the ingredients.

Found it in my homework packet. I used calculus, but I feel like using pre-cal this time =D!

So here's the problem:

"In figure above, the circle with center C and radius 5 is tangent to both the x and y axes. Line AB is tangent to the circle at point B. What is the slope of Line AB if point B is at (9, -8)?

The circle is at the 4th quadrant. You might want to draw it to do this.

How would you find the slope without calculus?

You might want the equation of the circle:

(x-5)^2 + (y+5)^2 = 25
