I really want an ipod nano video. But most of my friends that have diiferent model ipods, have told me theres have broke or have virus's etc. I know that it the first year there is a warrenty, and apple can send me a new one if something goes wrong, but what about the battery life? When it runs out... can it be replaced? If so... will it still be the same? I dont know what to belive. Some people say, when the battery goes, u have to buy a new ipod, and some say u CAN replace the battery, and apple can do it for you for $70. Is that true? That would be terrific if so! Thanks

Go for it! The iPods don't just randomly break for no reason. As long as you DON'T download stuff from like LimeWire, then you'll be fine! There are plenty of other ways to get free music, WITHOUT it being harmful to your computer/iPod.

My battery life is fine. You have to charge it for like 4 hours when you first get it, but after that it only needs to be charged for like 45 min when it dies.

It takes like 2 or 3 years for the battery to die. My friend has a 5th gen video iPod and she's had it over 2 years, and the battery is still going strong.

But when it finally does, then yes you'll send it to Apple and they'll put a new one in for you. I'm not sure how much, but $70 sounds about right.

If you have any other questions, ask me!! =D Just email me.

Good luck!

I even have had my iPod 30g Video 2d technology for a pair of year now, and the worst difficulty I even have had is that it particularly is scratched up. As you in all probability understand, the iPod is rechargeable, so which you do no longer could get new batteries every time the difficulty dies. of direction, Apple WILL replace your battery once you elect them to, of direction they'll value you. yet i haven't had to interchange my battery yet, and that i take advantage of my iPod lots, to play video clips, video games, the great situation, you already know. as long as you're looking after it, you in all probability won't could replace your iPod for fairly a whilst.

you should get a new Zune(they're coming out on the 12 of Nov.)
you could either get a flash player(like on the nano) which has 1.8 in. screen. theses come in colors like pink, green, red and black

the harddrive one (like the iPod classic) has a bigger, 3.2 inch screen. that only comes in black...

also, the zune has an fm radio in it...which the ipod doesnt have

also, the battery is user-replacable (im 95% sure about that)
