I dread as it become winter because as soon as I turn the heat on I start waking every morning with a headache. Any ideas on what to do. I don't really want to take medication if I don't have too.

Heat dries out my sinuses in the winter but not so much that it gives me headaches. Try using a humidifier in your bedroom. Or, depending on what type of heating system you have, try putting a big pan of water near the heat source to add moisture to the air. Keep the bedroom door closed to keep the moist air inside.

Your sinuses are probably drying out. If you own your own home and have forced hot air heat put a humidifier on your heating system. If not, try using a humidifier in your bedroom. At the very least, have glass of water before going to bed.

You may want to try a humidifier and run it in the room where you sleep. This will help with dried up nasal passages. If you use gas heat have someone check to make sure you do not have a leak.

Block the heater in your room if you can and use a humidifier. Your getting all dried up and that's whats causing the headaches.

Get a carbon dioxide detector ASAP. Also, have your heating vents checked for mold.
