The space is nothing but vacuum. The earth's atmosphere contains many gases. Why does the atmosphere doesn't get emptied from high pressure to the low pressure? Is it because of the gravity effect that we are saved of this to happen? I think so but just want to confirm

Does anybody know why I get a sharp, stabbing pain on my skin? It feels like being pricked with a hot pin, or receiving an electric shock, and can occur anywhere on my body, but usually emanates from a leg or somewhere on my abdomen. It tends to happen only once or twice per day. Sometimes accompanied by a strange, unpleasant "stunned" feeling- anyone who's maybe touched a bare wire and had a good jolt of electricity will understand what I mean by that.

Hi, well basically my dog...we already know hes dieing (sp?)

Hes had thyroid cancer for a long time now, and it started really effecting him recently.

Hes lost like 50 pounds, hes all boney and skinny now.

And lately hes really been scaring me.

He just lays around and wont move no matter what. You can kinda nudge him, or even show him his favorite ball that he likes to play with....and he still wont move.

Today he wouldnt even eat his can of food i gave him....and he has ALWAYS eaten his canned food, its like his fave, but today, he didnt even touch it

I have accepted the fact that he is dieing, and that he may not have much longer (we may even end up putting him to sleep)

But no one is home today, i got out of school early, and im here all alone, and im super, super worried...i dont want him to die when no one else is around cuz...i dont know what to do to be honest

Do you think hell be ok until my mom gets home?

I usually watch the show. I've seen him try and prevent people from ruining their lives or ruining them even further, whether they're white, black, asian, whatever. Even though his message sounded very racist, I really do not believe he is, instead he is just using the language and thoughts he grew up with. In the end I believe that he was done more good to try and set an example for people who's lives aren't on track and for people before they throw their lives away, so I forgive him. What do you think?

Okay, I have a fear of spiders and of heights. I really hate my fear of heights because I cant do ROPES courses at summer camp (Boy Scout). Is there a way to cure my fears? I really hate my fears. I got my fear of heights from my mom. I dont know where the fear of spiders came from. The wierd thing is that my uncle is afraid of snakes but I love snakes. My favorite animal. Im not a woos. I am tougher than most guys in my town. That is all that I am afraid of. Give me an answer on how to cure my fears.

It's been a long time now, yet the two MLB leagues have different rules! Should there be a Designated Hitter or not? It's time to consolidate!

What's really annoying is that during the playoffs, I heard not one announcer suggest that the league rules be unified. Nor one newspaper story.
