I asked the question, "How's life?" and I get it removed and I get a violation. How is that an inappropriate question??

No, that's all I wrote in my question. I got 9 points taken away, and my question was removed.

Tina, you might be right, they might have considered it as chatting or something, I know that's in the community guidelines.

maybe it would make a depressed person want to comit suicide or they just gave you a violation for no reason

It probably got removed because it's a 'questionable' question. You're not allowed to ask questions just for chatting purposes. Search Y! Answer guidelines for clarification.

I had one removed asking if people had a favorite comfort food. They said it was chatting. Go figure. Aren't questions all considered "chatting." If not we would have to freakin' read eachothers minds now wouldn't we? Yahoo needs to take a step back and look at what they are doing, or not doing, whatever the case.

Enjoy your day!

I have no idea. I don't think it should have been removed, so to answer: Life is pretty good right now, I'm living with the man of my dreams and we are very much in love, I have a steady job, but crappy pay, overall though I find myself happier now than I have been in a long time. So yeh, life's pretty good.

Well. Some people just look at a post before looking at a section and automatically think "OMG Inappropriate" and report it. Thats the thing about the Internet. There is no such thing about a life when the Internet is involved.

Yahoo removes questions. They probably thought it wasn't an appropriate question. The violation should have told you why the question was removed.

They probably classified it as 'chatting'.
I've had a few innocent ?s like that removed and that was the explanation, back when you could get an explain out of 'em.

Who knows? It's not inappropriate, but maybe there's somewhere in the terms of service that say you can't ask questions like that.
I know your not supposed to ask "how is your day". How's life? is kinda similar to that.

Thats not a good reason to be removed. They probably got the wrong idea.
