Here is what you need to do to find this out yourself (may be other ways, but this definitely works):

Go to the Start menu and select "Run". This brings up the command prompt. In there, type "dxdiag" (no quotes) and hit ok.

This should open the DirectX Diagnostic tool which shows you lots of info on your computer.

There should be some tabs, click the "Display 1" tab, under the device field you should see name, mfg, and chip type.

I assume you are trying to find if your computer is capable of running a game or movie? There are very good self-diagnostic tools that you can google, just choose the game you want to check and they will instantly tell you if your computer meets the basic requirements as well as preferred requirements, and give you of list of any gaps you need to correct, etc.

Hope that helps.

That model comes with the video intergrated into the motherboard but there is a PCI-express slot. Look a this site:
http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/dimen_5150?c=us&cs=28&l=en&s=dfb

it has all the detail on that model.

If you purchases the optional video card then it is a pci-express

Looks like you have one of two choices. you can prolly open her up and look and it may say on it what style it is but it appears that both choices are pci express X16:

Graphics:
Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 950,
128MB PCI ExpressTM x16 ATI® RADEONTM X300 SE HyperMemory1,
or
256MB PCI ExpressTM x16 ATI® RADEONTM X600 SE HyperMemory2

why don't you try to fund out for yourself by going to the 'device manager' on your computer. Right-Click on the 'my computer' icon on your desktop, scroll down to properties, click on the 'hardware' tab on the top, and click on device manager. There you will find a list of all the devices in your computer. You will find the info you need under display adapters.
