Here's my take on banning people from Yahoo.
I am an Evangelical Christian, and I see lots of opinions on this board that I strongly disagree with. But I also believe in free speech, for everyone. I feel really strongly about this, and I think the other Christians here need to demonstrate some maturity about this.
I don't ever 'report' someone for stating an opinion I disagree with. I don't even give them a 'thumbs down' if they're simply being honest about their opinion. And (curse me if you want for being an absolutist) I think everyone should do the same. People have a right to their opinions. I do think the 'report' feature has a purpose, and I have reported out-right obscene answers, though I have never tried to get anyone booted off. If there are Christians out there who are targeting people you disagree with— STOP! You don't further your cause by being a sneak and a cheat. What do you guys think?

Reaction (1) to (4) can occur in the industrial conversion of ammonia into nitric acid.

Note: I would denote the oxidation number as ON:

Which one of these reactions shows the greatest change in the oxidation number of nitrogen?

(1) 4NH3 + 5O2 ---> 4NO + 6H2O
The ON of N in 4NH3 is -3, and the N in 4NO is +2, correct?

(2) 3NO2 + H2O ---> 2HNO3 + NO
The ON of N in 3NO2 is +4, the ON of N in 2HNO3 is +6 and the ON of N in NO is +2, correct?

(3) 2NO + O2 --> 2NO2
The ON of N in 2NO is +2 and the ON of N in 2NO2 is +4, correct?

(4) 4NH3 + 6NO --> 5N2 + 6H2O
The ON of N in 4NH3 is -3, the ON of N in 6NO is +2 and the ON of N in 5N2 is 0, correct?

however, my answer is (2) but the correct answer is (1)...please correct my mistakes from the above workings and show me your workings on how you calculate out that the greatest change in the oxidation number of nitrogen is in (1)..thanks

Harley has been useing japanese parts since 1975, right now they still use japanese carbs ( mikuni ), japanese forks ( showa ). Also some of the wheels are made in japan. Thier fuel injection was designed in germany ( Volvo ). Alot of thier electrical stuff is from japan. Thier V-Rod is a metric bike, how many american bikes do you know that use metric parts.

Hate to say it fellas but harleys are'nt all american made, my ford truck isn't all american made either.

I say ride what you want to ride, I'll be rideing my Kawasaki Drifter ( fake indian ). "LOL"

Conversation starter only:

I realize this is not technically a "R&S" question, but it's one for which I want to hear answers from Christians:

When, exactly, did this culture of "superstardom," your "fifteen minutes (seconds?) of fame" and the "cult of personality" become so mainstream?

More to the point, what would you say is the proper Christian response to it?

To further elaborate, why should a Christian follow every twist and turn in the latest drama in the lives of Angelina Jolie; Paris Hilton; Oprah; 50 Cent, or whomever the latest media darling might be?

As a Christian, I know that, ultimately, like all mankind, they will stand before God to be judged. I know their celebrity status will mean nothing.

I also know it's not a "sin" to read about the latest trip to rehab for Britney/ Lindsay etc., but honestly, do you pray for these poor lost souls, ignore them or, like the rest of the world, just stand on the sidelines like voyeurs into their life tragedies?

It won't be the same without him here. I worry whether or not my grandparents (and the rest of my family for that matter) will be able to handle him being gone at Christmas. Any suggestions for making the holidays a little bit easier to deal with this year?

I know this isn't the right category to ask this question in, but I also know I'll get more answers here than anywhere else.
Thanks!!
