How do the surivors of the Armenian massacre feel about it today?

I think all the survivors have died of old age by now; the genocide was almost 100 years ago.
I knew one survivor of the "Armenian holocaust," as they called it. Turkish was his first language, but he was orphaned in the genocide. Eventually he made his way to the U.S. and became a dentist and a professor at dental school.
He showed no bitterness, but he felt it was important for the world to know what happened. He was not pleased that the Turkish people (or the Turkish government) refuses to acknowledge what happened. He never went back to visit Turkey because of this.
By the way, Hitler used the Armenian genocide as a justification for eliminating the Jews. He figured that in a few years people would forget all about the genocide, just like they had forgotten the Armenian genocide! So, he didn't see any problem with it.

Most of the survivors of the Genocide are very old, and remember the incident as children. I have some links of survivors sharing their stories, and also the children/grandchildren sharing their stories. What ppl dont seem to understand is, yes it was 92 years ago...but its changed EVERYTHING for us...we are no longer the same people we used to be..we have a sadness in all of us..and un-healed wound.
