Should I get the Verizon Chocolate? Have you ever had it? What are the positives and the negatives?

I have a white chocolate (LGVX8500?). Correction: I am on my 3rd LG chocolate due to malfunctions not caused by me. Verizon says I can get ANOTHER LG phone when my 5th chocolate defects...

1st defect - touch pad stopped working and called random people. the touch screen must be sensitive to air as well? haha

2nd defect - phone screen slowly turned black and shut off. verizon didn't even know what the hell happened.


And I bought the chocolate for cheap on a 2 year contract, but the LG warranty only lasts 1 year, so Verizon's conspiracy is very well thought out haha

this is ridiculous. last time i ever sign up with verizon, but if u must go with verizon, i recommend a samsung phone. samsung has never failed me in the past :)

I have the pink chocolate phone, it is an alright phone, the only problem I see with it is the "OK" button does not like to work well when you are taking a picture, and when you are talking on the phone, your cheek pushes buttons on the touch key pad and your phone beeps at you when you are talking if you dont clear out of it. Not suvier, but annoying

i know people who have it, the old model is crap, if you go 5 miles out of your city, no signal
the new one (from experience) works at 7000 ft of altitude
i swear.
anyway, many people have it so its too common, i would not buy it instead of a stylish blackberry,very bussines-like(symbolizes wealth and exllence while the chocolate is kind of young/teenage kind of feel)

i got it exactly a year ago. i loved it, but now ive had recent problems with it. the microSD card wont read, and my camera doesnt work, and my battery wont hold a charge. but before that it was the best phone i ever had.
