ok so my brother brought a pit bull. and wanted my mom to take care of it. ut this pit bull of mine does not listen at all. she does not come when called. she does not want to get in her cage. over all she is hard headed. i am annoyed. so what can i do? and how could i make her listen to me?

I've just gotten through a little more than a month of deployment.

To start out, I hate the war. My husband and I both hate the army. We hate the way of life. We regret that he signed a contract to be in the army. Worst decision we could have made.

But I love him, immensely, I have no interest in leaving him, and he is quitting the armed services for good at the end of the contract. For now, I have 14 months of being on my own. I'm a pre-med student. I have a lot to do. But everything I do, everywhere I go, I hate my life. I hate coming home to no one. I hate waking in the morning. I hate breathing. I rarely smile, and when I do, it's empty and meaningless. I have plenty of activities. I try to talk to friends. I try to be positive. I try and try and try EVERYTHING and I HATE MY LIFE. By the end of this deployment my soul will be drained dry from despair. I never had a family (not even as a kid) before I had my husband, and I realize it's all that counts.

What the hell do I do now?

I can't get it to work. I've bought a new card but it gets no power so I thought I'd replace the slot but can't get the computer open. I took all the outside screws out. When I consider things like "The 7 Deadly Sins" and "The 7 heavenly Virtues", I see a pattern.

Vanity=belief in yourself (man), Faith=belief in God.
Lust=desire for what man has to offer, Hope=desire for what God has to offer.
Greed=collecting riches for yourself(man), Charity=collecting riches for God

The sins are centered around Man. The virtues are centered around God.

Also, consider The Lord's Prayer: "...thy KINGDOM come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven..."

Heaven is a monarchy, with God as the monarch. If God's will is to be done on earth as it is in Heaven, then all earthly governments should be monarchies.

Democracy, literally, is rule by the people. Or, rule by Man, if you will. If a government is centered on protecting the rights of Man, as opposed to the monarch, does that then make Democracy itself sinful?
