The only businesses that make a more then normal amount of money around Thanksgiving are the grocery stores.

Maybe it's because nearly everyone celebrates Thanksgiving and it doesn't really need advertising. However, the grocery stores sure do run better ads!!!

No, I'm thankful everyday and I cook a big meal everyday..now I would feel sorry if they skipped Christmas.

I guess no matter what special holidays or important occasions..each one has a reason to be there, to be remembered and be celebrated...so I don't think we should feel sorry for any special holiday even if it meant to give us more expenses...but on the other hand it gives us special moments to cherish and be with our loved ones.

Yes! everyone just surpasses it! It's terrible :( Thanksgiving is an important holiday and no one even cares.....Man I'd hate to be Thanksgiving...
