What is the port called for the wi fi card on my presario 2100?

I can't get it to work. I've bought a new card but it gets no power so I thought I'd replace the slot but can't get the computer open. I took all the outside screws out. I thought maybe the port was disabled but what is it called? And, how would I take it out. It seems that there are two screws I can't get to in the middle.

I just answered this question in another location. Download the service manual from the manufacturer. Compaq was purchased by HP, so it is an HP link. Select the appropriate PDF that you want and download it. The manuals are very straight forward and well illustrated.
