I am 30 weeks pregnant, and my baby is kicking all the time within the last two/three days. I always felt little somethings when I would sit down or lay down. But lately, I feel it even when I'm walking ... and it is STRONG. Normal?

A ball of radius 0.212m rolls along a horizontal table top with a constant linear speed of 5.51m/s. The ball rolls off the edge and falls a vertical distance of 2.17m before hitting the floor. What is the angular displacement of the ball while it is in the air?

(I am not using this for a homework question but am studying questions from a textbook. It would be great if I could learn how to approach this question, thanks!)

I have only been coming to this site for a short while, but I find myself automatically skipping any questions (and answers) that are gramatically incorrect. I mean, ever heard of proofreading? I am no Einstein, but I can construct a basic sentence. I certainly have my misspellings, but I try not to. Am I the only English Snob here?

What are your least favorite names and why?

I'm not crazy about biblical names like Noah, Isiah, Elijah, etc. They're too popular and a bit outdated.

I don't like names like Hunter, Peyton, Bud, Trip, etc, they seem like hick names and people i know with those names are usually kinda on the hick side.

And I cant stand names with apostrophes, like Shan'Traya or Mo'Feshia. Apostrophes ruin names.

So whats your opinion?

Oh,and my baby cousin was named after a "No Smoking" sign (his name is "Nosmo" (NOS MOking) i hate it lol)

British newspapers are full of the story today. She gave birth to twins and haemorraged, and although the doctors begged her husband to overrule her written refusal to have a transfusion he would not and she died.

I just wondered how you view this? Will her husband be applauded? Is this nevertheless a tragedy, or is it a triumph of faith? Had she (or he for her) accepted the transfusion and lived to raise her son and daughter, would they have been looked upon badly, or even shunned?

I am a Mormon and although my faith forbids me to drink alcohol, I can if it is deemed medically necessary. I am not expected to die for my faith. Does it worry you that you might be called upon to do so?

Interested to learn the Witness perspective on this.

For the past few weeks, people have really started to get on my nerves. I have said it to myself over and over that I rather be with animals then people. I'm annoyed when people almost slam into me with their car because they are talking on their cell phone, smoking a cigarette and totally not caring about what is going on around them.

People piss me off. Is it me, or are people becoming more insensitive and not caring about others? I get upset reading the news and hearing about another gang shooting (I don't read the news anymore).

The last thing to really be hurtful is someone from work telling me that I gained wt., and suggested I look into gastric bypass surgery (I weigh 150)

I have so much vented anger---I feel anxious and I am afraid I am going to go off on someone.

I am usually really easy going and things like this don't bother me----so what is wrong with me?

I got something in the mail and I'm 99.9% sure that my ex is doing this to me. A phone line was open in my name and social security number many years ago. The "final bill" was in March of 2000. This was at least three states away from anywhere I ever lived. Is there any way I can find out what else he did to me? I know he was into small-dollar crime, and this would qualify as that.

I have just recently obtained my GED. I have heard many different things from people stating that I cannot go into the military without a HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA. And that I CAN be accepted into the Marines with just a GED but its rare... Can anyone with experience clarify this for me please? :] I've also heard that Marines don't get sign on bonuses quite as much as other branches.... Not that important but would like to know a bit about that?

My unemployed lazy roommate steals any food that I leave in our shared kitchen. Thank God my best friend gave me his little refrigerator so I can put food under lock and key in my room. My roommate takes anything! I just discovered that he ate all but crumbs of my oatmeal and whey protein powder. He leaves a tiny bit in there so I won't think it's gone. Like I am dumb and don't know that a $30 container of Whey protein powder that I barely touched is gone. What a thief! When I accuse him he lies and he is the only other one in the house!!!!!!!!!! Has this happened to you???
