If your body isn't mature enough to menstruate, then you won't get pregnant - but you shouldn't be having sex either. But it is important to remember that you ovulate (release an egg, are fertile, can get pregnant) about 14 days BEFORE your period, and if you haven't had one yet, there is NO WAY of knowing when that might occur. So it is possible to get pregnant if you have sex at that time.

no...you have to get your menstrual cycle..that is when you become fertile. but that doesn't mean to have unprotected sex....condom's are not just for birth control they are to prevent STD's like herpes's, ghonerra, chlamydia, and the worst HIV/AIDS. And you may have seen commercials to help prevent Cervical Cancer shots....yah that's caused from an STD called HPV (Human Papalloma Virus) in other words Genital Warts.
So if u r going to have sex, which you shouldn't be at your age, then make sure you have a condom....this stuff out there is for real and we don't tell you this stuff to b/c we want to prevent you from having sex....that's impossible...we just want you to be safe about it.
Good Luck.

If you have not yet begun to menstruate, then you are not fertile at all. You need to read about the process of maturing now, so you will have self confidence and understanding as you move into adulthood.

NO.
When you get your first period it's kind of like your body is saying, "Okay, NOW you're able to get pregnant." As in, "Before, you were not."
When you get your period it means your eggs are "ripe" and ready to be fertilized. If you have no period, your eggs aren't even coming out of the falopian tubes.
Here's something to keep in mind; If your too young to have a period you are DEFINATELY too young to have sex.

No you are not fertile until you start your menstrual cycle. Just like when you go through menopause and no longer have a period, you are again not fertile.

If you haven't had any periods yet, then you are not fertile.
If you have had a single period, you could be fertile, but it could take up to a year for your periods to be normal and for you to ovulate regularly.
