I have only been coming to this site for a short while, but I find myself automatically skipping any questions (and answers) that are gramatically incorrect. I mean, ever heard of proofreading? I am no Einstein, but I can construct a basic sentence. I certainly have my misspellings, but I try not to. Am I the only English Snob here?

I look at it this way -- a lot of the people here are asking for help. And seriously, if some of these questions were just typed into Google, exactly as asked, the person would probably have his or her answer!
So, there are some people here who don't know exactly how to get the help they need, and often these are people who don't do a lot of typing, writing, editing etc. in their daily lives . . . and maybe some who haven't figured out search engines yet. :)
If I think I can help someone, then I will. Who am I to judge their language ability? Most people here would kick my *** in any non-academic activity like fixing my house or sports. See how picky you are about spelling and grammar when you need a good plumber!
The beauty is you can pick and choose which questions you want to get involved with. If language is a pet peeve of yours, then by all means skip those questions. No one can fault you if you can't answer a question because you have to work too hard to figure out what the person is asking.
But, if I can understand what the person is asking, and I get the sense that I can genuinely help or contribute to the discussion, I'll usually get involved. I find that trying to explain myself in writing (especially math questions! whew!) is good practice for me and maybe helps some kids out (I hope). If I think my time is going to be appreciated, then I'll give it. Sometimes people just need a break.
Sometimes they just need good models. If someone is helped by my answer, and likes the way I've written my answer, and sees that my writing (more or less) "properly" has been helpful to them, maybe some of it will rub off! Maybe they'll realize that it's considerate and polite to make yourself understood to your audience, and a heck of a lot easier to understand.

Besides your imaginative spelling of "grammer," your question contains three grammatical errors, so I would suggest you are in no position to complain.

I am on your side of the question undoubtedly.
I like my long and arduously constructed sentences and always try to be polysyllabic if possible. 'Confound the runts' I say!
