How do you feel about de-clawing a cat?
My dad said it's like cutting you finger nails, only it's a cat's nail. But alot of people I know including one of my old neighboors say it is very mean to do that to your cat. Someone else told me it is like rmoving the first knuckle off of your finger.

What does de-clawing really do?

that they video taped the whole thing? What if you hoped to never EVER see this person again but really dont want that tape to get out......

AND! what on earth would posess a person to video tape that with out the other person knowing in the first place??

for the past month or so I've been having these dreams, each dream is different but one thing happens in all of these dreams. i'm chewing gum and the gum gets stuck throughout my teeth and gums, and sometimes the roof of my mouth. i try to get the gum out but its stuck and difficult to peel off. in some dreams my mouth starts to bleed bc when i pull the gum out it rips off a part of my gums. its a weird and uncomfortable dream to have, i just wonder why i keep having it. i don't have any dental problems and don't even chew gum that often.

Aren't they mutually exclusive, since Christianity is a theistic religion, and Buddhism is a non-theistic religion? How can you possibly reconcile the two?

I can certainly see the connections between Buddhism and esoteric Christianity, in terms of the enlightenment experience, but one experience is the "Void" and one is a loving "God", which are different in themselves.

So how to reconcile?

I was diagnosed with P.C.O.S. in June of this year. I was heartbroken. My doctor said that I have a few cysts, not a lot, on my ovaries. I have done some research on P.C.O.S. and I am in fear that I will never get pregnant. I have irregular periods so that does not help at all.
I have been ttc for over a year and a half now and nothing. I get so upset and I cry sometimes. I try not to worry about it, but it is just too hard.
My boyfriend is very supportive of me, but it just kills me that we have had no luck after all this time. We are both financially and emoitionally ready for a baby but this having P.C.O.S. kills me.
Anyone out there have some advice/success stories out there to keep my hopes up? I would appreciate all your help.

I was really good at algebra last year and I got great grades all the way through because I could understand it. This year, however, I have geometry and I just can't grasp it and it's making me so frustrated! I don't get why it's so hard for me! It's making me feel so stupid. What can I do to make it a little easier to understand? How come I understand algebra and not geometry?

i dropped a cigar on my arm, and it is red and discoloring all around it... looks almost like a bruise....how can i get the discoloring to go down...? and is it infected??

Ok, my one of my best friends is 19 (he's a guy). I'm 16. We've known each other pretty much our whole lives. He's my neighbor, so he comes over a few times a week and me, my little sister, my little brother, and him hang out. Lately, my mom has been getting mad when he comes over. We're always outside, so he's not bugging her. I know she's worried about me and him cause my dad told me. I don't know what she thinks we're gonna do outside w/ 2 other kids there. She keeps asking me if I like him. It makes me so mad. Finally I got so mad and I told him. He was really mad, but he said they're just parents, he knew that would happen. And when my mom leaves me and my brother alone, she says now if he comes over, you can't go inside. Why doesn't she trust me? She has always said how good of a guy he is. Why doesn't she trust him? My sister heard my parents talking and my dad said they'll be ok, i'll be out there sawing the wood. I can't believe it! What should I do?

i read that the some german scientists were fairly close to making a nuclear weapon.

but as hitler did not find a 'cowardly' weapon appealing and also they were losing the war, they tried to send the plans to japan, in a U-boat..... but the sub was destroyed.

my friend bet me $5000 that i couldnt go a month without eating or drinking something with any amount of sugar in it.

he means no sugar that is from the sugar cane grass (Sucrose) table sugar

he doesnt include any natural sugars that are already in the plants excluding sugar cane grass

my friend was so assured that he would win the bet that he took me to the bank with him and got a safe deposit box and put $5000 in it

and he said he'd hire a personal chef for me for the entire month to cook all foods with no sugar in them

he really doesn't believe that i can go a month without sugar

I am a fan of building plastic model vehicles, like cars, trucks, and military craft. You remember these models as a kid - playing with the X-Acto knife and the dizzying model glue. I like to make models look as authentic as possible, but I would like to make some of them look crashed or junky...how would I go about doing this? How do you take a completed model and turn it into a junkyard creation?

Also, are there any websites or groups associated with this sort of thing? Basically, I want to destroy some finished models, but make it look like they were supposed to be built that way. Thanks for the help.
