In a dream, teeth usually represent nurishment - if you can't eat and chew your food, you starve. You may be having some concerns about your health, or perhaps you feel as though you are lacking somewhere in your life and feeling unfufilled, feeling "emotionally starved". Chewing gum usually represents dificulty with words. Since you can't remove the gum from your mouth, it could mean that you are having difficulty expressing yourself, or that you are afraid you have said something that may have been misunderstood and taken out of context, thus leaving you in "a sticky situation".
Think back to just before the dreams started and try to remember if you found yourself in a situation where you just couldn't say what you wanted, or if you went through a period where you felt that no one was listening. Also try to remember if you may have offended anyone - it could be guilt over having hurt a loved one (however unintentional) that is causing these dreams to occur. If this doesn't help, try keep ing a journal before you go to bed and write down your day's thoughts, feeling, etc. Also make a note in your journal when the dream reoccurs. After a couple of weeks go through your journal and look for repeating themes, ideas or feelings. If you notice a pattern, then you will be able to find out what is causing the dreams and then be able to make the necessary changes to your waking life. Not only will the dreams stop then, but you'll feel much happier with yourself.
Good luck, I hope this helps!

Why do some dreams recur?
You’ve probably noticed that most recurring dreams have unsatisfactory endings or unresolved endings. Even the good ones are sad to leave behind, leaving you feeling unsatisfied when you wake up. This is why they recur. Here’s how it works:
All dreams reflect what’s been going on for you during the last 24 – 48 hours. Your dreaming mind is sorting through all your experiences – the conscious ones (the ones you were aware of) and the unconscious ones (the ones you weren’t aware of), comparing them to your past experiences and memories (which is why you often dream of the past) and generally updating your beliefs about the world and your place in it. It’s a bit like updating your hard drive, where your hard drive is everything you think, feel and believe about the world, consciously and unconsciously.
So, what your dreams do is give a picture – in bizarre symbols – of who you are and how you feel and think. So, whenever things don’t seem to be working out well for you in one area of your life, your dreams will often show this in the form of a story where things don’t work out well for you. The details of your dream story, once interpreted, show which areas of your life are not working out well and – more importantly – why. Once you know WHY something is not working for you, you can move on to make the changes that will result in more positive waking life results. Another way to express this is to say that these kinds of dreams show you where your blocks are. Once you know where your blocks are there are techniques you can use to remove them and clear your path. I call these techniques Dream Alchemy Practices. I can create these, based on your unique dreams, for you to do.
Shop - JT's books, products and services So, recurring dreams keep repeating because YOU keep repeating the same old pattern or meeting the same old blocks, stopping yourself from moving forward to a more successful outcome.
Here’s an important key to understanding your recurring dream:
As each dream reflects what’s been going on in your life for the last 24-48 hours, keep a diary of events, feelings and any issues or conflicts that come up each day. The next time your recurring dream comes up look back over the last two days in your diary. Do this for the next recurrence of your dream and so on until you notice a pattern. You’ll notice that your recurring dream usually comes up after a certain issue, conflict, feeling, event or – probably – non-event of the stuck or frustrated kind. Even without your dream being interpreted you will have pinpointed the likely cause of the dream and that’s a good place to start.
Now here’s the second vital key to understanding your recurring dream:
Ask yourself how long your recurring dream has been with you. When did it first start? As you will probably have guessed by now, your recurring dream started when the recurring issue first started. So, if you answered, for example, “My recurring dream started in the winter of 1998”, then ask yourself what changed for you in the winter of 1998. Sit with it for a while and a memory will emerge. It might be obvious, for example you might have experienced a relationship break-up then, or it might be more subtle, for example, you might have missed out on a promotion at work and thought nothing too much about it, not realising that the event has had an enormous impact on your unconscious mind and created all sorts of blocks for you since.

A recurring dream is something you need to work out, some lesson you need to learn. And once you learn it or work it out, you'll stop having that dream.
Hmmm. Dreammoods.com has this to say about gum:
"To dream that you are chewing gum, suggests that you are unable to express yourself effectively. You may feel vulnerable. Alternatively, is symbolizes a sticky situation that you found yourself in.
To dream that you are unable to get rid of your gum, suggests that you are experiencing some indecision, powerlessness or frustration. You may lack understanding in a situation or find that a current problem is overwhelming."
And I know that you mouth has to do with you expressing yourself. This makes me wonder if there's something "sticky" preventing you from expressing yourself in a certain situation. That your mouth bleeds tells me that maybe you're afraid of the consequence of expressing yourself.
Would that make any sense to you at all?

Here's my stab: You're sort of stuck in life, doing some pointless tasks. Is there anything more pointless than chewing gum? You don't even eat the stuff! LOL
Anyway, you try to get out of this rut you're in, but it's not easy, and sometimes you feel you would be losing a part of yourself or it would be painful to stop doing it.
I'm getting the feeling it's something like playing too many video games.

It has nothing to do with gum or dental issues. The gum represents a problem in your life, or situation that you can't get over as hard as you try. Being stuck is that as hard as you try it won't go away. The bleeding represents the problem won't go away over night. Identify your life and think if you have anything specific you're fretting over.

sounds like you feel you are getting stuck in a situation you are having difficulty getting out of. Is there something pressing in your life that you are afraid of that is coming up or a decision that you have to make soon? It's pressure and stress that you are feeling in your life. The gum is only symbolic and the fact that it's in your mouth indicates that you can't verbalize what it is you want to say. good luck

It's kind of like you're having a "sticky situation" where you arn't sure of what to do.
The thing is, YOU are going to have to find out what is causing you to be indecisive about something.

According to the activation-synthesis theory of dreams, the dream probably has no meaning at all. (Sorry, that may not be what you wanted to hear.)
Although dreams are influenced by our thoughts throughout the course of the day, this does not mean they are special messages to us that we should carefully consider.
Here's one perspective:
"Activation Synthesis Theory is a neurobiological theory of dreams, put forward by James Allan Hobson and Robert McCarley in 1977, which states that dreams are a random event caused by firing of neurons in the brain. This random firing sends signals to the body's motor systems, but because of a paralysis that occurs during REM sleep, the brain is faced with a paradox. It synthesizes a narrative by drawing on memory systems in an attempt to make sense of what it has experienced."

the bible says that dreams are from the business of the day. meaning that they are just things you have on your mind, dont know what the deal with the gum is, maby you just noticed someone chewing gum at one point.
i wouldent worry about it. itl go away, bibically dreams are meaningless, unless sent specifically by God of course.

i know this.
you are maybe keeping a secret your friend told you not to tell....and you really want to tell ( gum getting stuck in your mouth and gums)(you usually cant talk when that happens)
and then you peel it off(like you tell the secret) and your mouth starts to bleed(you get in trouble for telling it)
its perfectly normal. but if its a secret that you should tell for her own sake..
you need to tell it.
