My 14 yrs old daughter has a 10 gallon fish tank. We had 2 black moor and one fancy tail gold fish. We help her keep it clean and she had these three fish for a year and 3 months. I recently brought a Hypostomus plecostomus to help keep the tank clean because she love to keep the light on to watch the fish and it get tons of algae. Well a week after I introduce the sucker fish all three fish died. Their fin started to shred and they grew white fungus all over their bodies. They also had red spots on their bellies. I think they got fin rot. I want to what went wrong. I am sad to think I killed her fish!! I tried Melafix but it didn't work. The sucker fish was fine. Can you please tell me how to keep this from happening again? I have picture if you need to see what they looked like. Thanks Mother of a heart broken daughter.

I am almost 30 years old and I am extremely close to my mom. She is so amazing and sacraficed soo much for me. My mom doesn't have to many friends to speak of, and she doesn't have a car......she can't afford one.

She relies on me a lot for transportation, and sometims she needs grocery money, or money for her bus pass, a new outfit....whatever.

I want to move to a different city.....but I honeslty don't know how she will make it without me. I see her at least once a week if not more. She loves going out to eat, telling me about her work issues, hearing wht is new in my life, etc, etc. If I move away, she won't have anyone. No other family and no friends. And it is very hard for her to make friends (for a number of reasons). She will take the bus home and have nothing to look forward to.

I like to think that I would be able to send her $$ for groceries, taxi and bus fares, but the area I want to move to is sooooo expensive. I may not be able to afford living for myself and h

Do you suppose it will be the "Christmas to end all Christmasses" as far as sales for toy companies? [or insert other gifting holiday/birthday] You know, safe new toys to replace all the ones that were dangerous and had to be taken away?

Or is it more likely that this holiday season/next birthday will have folks stay away from toy-toys and do stuff like homemade toys, clothing, books, or other "toy" alternatives?

Just wondering what the rest of the country thinks the gift-trading will be like for the younger ones.

My father has a section 8 tenant living in a rental she has been there about 4 years. she is on month to month, sent her an eviction notice (however i have heard that it was not properly done) 3 1/2 months ago. she still hasn't found a place to live . she has her and 1 kid on the lease(her older son was just taken off) it seems that there are about 4 extra adults living in this home with her she only has to pay 400.00 a month sec. 8 pays 1700.00 dad pays all utilities(water bill has been extremly high lately) how can we prove legally that there are more people living in this house so that we can evict her...family needs to move into the home and we cant get her out. S.F rent control "you have to pay each person 4500. and child 3000. relocation fee(very unfair) and you must give 90 days notice and she still wont leave...i'm looking for some advice on how to evict due to more people living in the house then agreed to on the lease...advice please saw attorney already, need more help!!!!!!

how do you comfort a loved one? when a Christian loses a spouse they at least have something to look forward to (even if its false). They just have that comfort. My spouse knows that I'm atheist, but cannot accept or cope with "the end" whenever it may be. He says if I die first he can't think that he'll never see me again. Its so sad! I sometimes wish I were religious, but I can't pretend to believe something that I think is rubbish. I guess I sacrifice unfounded joy for my integrity.

MMkay, this was one of the arguments I thought of when I was first starting to see the cracks and holes in the bible about 4 years ago:
1. We are created in God's image.
2. God will send us to hell if we don't believe in him and worship him.
But if a human (who is supposedly created in God's image) asked someone to worship him, he would be an egotistical freak, who would be deeply flawed. So wouldnt this make god deeply flawed and not worthy of our praise...?

and another:
1. God supposedly loves us very much
2. He sends us to hell if we don't believe in him

If he truly loved us, why doesn't he spell it out in they sky to believe in him, why does he leave so many holes in his story, why does he tell us to have "faith", if he truly loved us, he wouldn't make us choose when we have inadequate evidence and then punish us for making a mistake. Also, what about someone living in the middle of a rainforest who has never even heard of god? why would he punish them for eternity?

I have a 5 yr old German Shepherd with a very sensitive stomach. She's had diarrhea on and off since I got her 3 months ago. I read a natural foods magazine about raw diets and it sounded great, so I started by giving her one pound of a high quality raw ground beef, and she had horrible diarrhea for days. That scared me from going raw and now I don't know what to do (keep her on dry food or ?) If you feed your dog raw, has it actually lengthened their life span?

i love to be outside all the time, and I really, really love climbing mountains. what major should i choose if i like this? i am puzzled ... usually rock climbing and mountaineering is recreational, not occupational. i also want to travel alot, too. i wouldn't want to get stuck working at a national park or something for years and years.

Example: Seventh Day Adventist say that we are required to attend Church on Saturday, 7th Day, and eating pork and shelfish is a sin. Mormons have different ideas. The so-called "Jehovah's Witnesses" belive that there is no hell fire and never will be for the lost souls. Some Pentecostals belive that a true Christian speaks in tongues, (unknown language.) Adventists do not believe that the Pentecostals are really speaking in tongues. The Church of Christ do not believe we should use musical instrument in Church and that naming a Church as Pentecostal, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, ect anything other than the Church of Christ or Church of God is disobeying the Gospel and you are lost. "Jehovah's Witnesses," Mormons, and Seventh Day Adventist are considered heretics or cults by the others. Catholics believe that Christians should pray to the Mother of Jesus because they think she and dead Christians can hear them and answer prayers I guess. Catholics see Protestants as in apostasy
