I'm replacing the battery on my '89 Ford Festiva. It doesn't seem to be that complicated of an issue, but I wanted to make sure. I already read that you disconnect the negative first and reconnect it last. But I'm still wondering:

Is there any danger in touching any part of the battery or the terminals at any time?

Is there anything weird about the process that I wouldn't expect? Any possible hitches?

I am currently working with Synthesis Reaction, Decomposition Reaction, Single-Replacement Reaction, Double-Replacement Reaction and Combustion Reaction. I am given a few problems and told to do them, but I do not understand them, here is my first one

Now I do understand balancing after you get the entire equation, but what I don't understand is how to balance the above, get the second side of it and figure out witch of the above 5 types I gave it will turn into. If anyone has either a really detailed site explaining how to do this then I would love that or if someone would like to show me how to go through this problem, then that would be awesome as well. Ill go ahead and give one more in case someone decides to show me how to do this and I would be pleased with a second walk through as well with this one.

They are the second-most paid highschool teachers in the state of Illinois, and they are complaining about their 2% raise...apparantly they want a 3.5%.

- Lack of vocabulary skills (still babbles, hard to understand most of the time, only a few discernible words, can only count to 5, doesn't know ABCs)
- Behavioral tantrums like that of a toddler - screams, runs away, still shows signs of compulsivity like that of a younger child (hates taking turns, etc.)
- Overall physically healthy and up to date on vaccinations

Do you think anything is wrong with this child? And no, this is not my child, but is a child I do know. I'm just curious to see what people think or see if any one has any experience or professional expertise.

Everytime I taste cilantro, it reminds me of the smell of "latex" Like a latex surgical glove. I had a sandwich a long time ago that had cilantro in it. It took me a couple years to realize that that re-occuring taste I was tasting in certain foods was cilantro. Now if I eat certain types of salsa, I cringe at the thought of that taste. Some people get all happy about recipes that they're going to add cilantro to. I thought I might get used to the taste of foods with cilantro, but it keeps coming back to ruin the taste of food for me.

I am pretty much nice to everyone. But, I have real friends---a lot. And all my friends are different. But, when I am hanging with the kids that are bad and aren't real smart, my smart friends ignore me. I don't know which group I should stick with since the bad kids are the nicest and love me the most. But, since even I'm the whole principal's honor roll student, I can't totally switch to the bad kids. WHAT DO I DO???? Please help. Thanx.
