You ever hear
"Don't Talk To Strangers" (My fave song of His)
or
"I've Done Everything For You"
By Rick Springfield?
If not check them out You'll love em.By the way buddy. Sammy Hagar has a cover of "I've Done Everything For You" that absolutely SMOKES Springfield's original. As big a fan of the Red Rocker as You are you oughta love it!
Srringfield was HUGE when I was in high school pal.

Actually I had heard of him long before he hit it big in the 80's and was on General Hospital.
I was a fan of his back in the mid-70's when he still had his Aussie accent and a song called "Speak To The Sky" was his first U.S single. He followed this , oddly... with a Saturday morning cartoon show, "Mission Magic". Then he dropped out of sight for a few years. Came back as an actor with minor guest roles on shows such as Wonder Woman, and a new "American"accent. Then came the soap, General Hospital and the rest, you know.
He still tours and was in the Vegas show EFX Alive.
I still see his music for sale in most chain stores. Including his "Greatest Hits Alive!" Which is what I believe, you're looking for.

hey there my 80s friend... I have definitely heard of Rick Springfield. He actually has a new cd out (mostly covers of old songs like John Lennon's Imagine). I happen to like a lot of his songs like:
Love Somebody
I've Done Everything for You
Jessie's Girl
Human Touch
He also does great versions of classics such as:
Baker Street
Imagine
Human (Human League song)
Broken Wings (Mister Mister)
and more
I have a lot if you want I can somehow send u them

Oh, the misinformation...
darfy1 - Rick was a singer LONG before he was an actor. He went into acting to pay the bills.
Darth Maul OS: Sammy Hagar wrote IDEFY - it wasn't a RS original.
Check out rickspringfield.com for tons of information and tour dates.

Lemme guess...you weren't born yet. Yes, I remember Rick Springfield. He is an accomplished actor turned pop star who had a brief fling with being a heartthrob. A lot of us thought he was dreamy on General Hospital, and the popstar thng was just icing on the cake. If I close my eyes, I can see my b/f's wall with all of the Tiger Beat posters....

Oh yeah man! I had that "Working Class Dog" album (on cassette tape) back in the 80's. Ask any Rocker and if they're honest..they'll tell you Rick Rocked.
