It's just so frightening anymore that no one can trust the next person just because they advertise on a job list and for such a wholesome sounding job as a 'nanny' and supposedly by a doting family. As someone else mentioned elsewhere, try to get those types of jobs by word of mouth or perhaps with a nanny agency since going to a person's house can make a person so vulnerable.

In the bible 1John.4:1-2

or will future generations be telling Jewish people to "get over it"..
.. and no my question is not anti semtic. African Americans are told the very same things about slavery - "to get over it because it ended 200 years ago"... "to stop focusing on something that did not affect them personally", etc etc

For all those who will say that the Holocaust should not be forgotten, I would like to ask why the same rules are not applied to the African slave trade. Why must we forget and dismiss one tragedy because it happened so long ago [and more people died during the slave trade by the way] yet forever focus on another tragedy....?

My friends and I havent had the time to hang out, and whenever we do its always the same old boring dinner party. I live in Chicago and many times ask them to come up with ideas that involves going out. The thing is, all my friends are different: One likes to explore a lot, the other likes to go out in the daytime, and the other doesn't want to spend too much...Now, I need ideas about things to see and places to have fun in the Chicagoland area? when he died and the guys didn't find him in the cave thing later on coz he went up to heaven .. um doesn't only the soul go up to heaven?? and when they saw him go up, i though souls are invisable to humans?? also, what it says in the bible, was all that information passed on or was it written straight from the time, who wrote it ?? thx.

I want to record poems and prayers onto a cd using my own voice for personal use. I have windows xp, a built -in cd recorder/burner/player. Software including: Dragon Naturally Speaking, Windows Media Player, Realplayer, Sonic etc... BUT I lack the 'know how'...Detailed suggestions are most welcome! ( not just "USE a cd burner...") Has anyone done this 'data recording before? I'm not talking about SINGING or recording my own MUSIC - just 'me' talking... Thanks :)

...From what I saw the left rear tire had been on since about 60 laps to go.
Lap 268 - took 4 tires
Lap 318 - took 2 right tires
Lap 322 - didn't pit (stayed out)
Lap 328 - Jr's tire decides it was faster than the car

From the looks of his pit on lap 318 he took 2 right side tires. Nobody touched the left rear wheel since Lap 268. I noticed on the tape rewind that his crew on the 268 pit stop was on the right side changing his tires.

...So how did the left rear tire fall off on the last lap when it had been on the car for close to 60 laps? That shoud be somewhere around 90 miles on that wheel before it fell off.

Am I missing something?

i mean last year there were walkoff homeruns, close games, errors that changed the whole game, etc.... this year there were a lot of sweeps, blowouts, and a world series where you knew who was gonna win even before it started. just pretty boring
