Software including: Dragon Naturally Speaking, Windows Media Player, Realplayer, Sonic etc... BUT I lack the 'know how'...Detailed suggestions are most welcome! ( not just "USE a cd burner...") Has anyone done this 'data recording before? I'm not talking about SINGING or recording my own MUSIC - just 'me' talking... Thanks :)

How do I "rip' my own voice to make a narrative cd? Is the soundcard directly under the microphone input jack? What's the best media ( Sonic, Windows Media, Realplayer...) to use for this project? Thanks!

On your sound card there is a space to plug in a microphone. You can used Windows own Voice Recorder to record your stuff. Then you can do what you want with it.
