I like a man I work with. Our attraction is mutual. But we work together

He may not have a girlfriend (or he might). I don't know - he doesn't talk about having a girlfriend so even if he is "committed" he must not be TOO committed

Anyway, the situation is this: He treats me inconsistently. Sometimes he's sweet and sometimes he's not. It's like he doesn't want to show weakness; doesn't understand what it means to be sensitive. We go out to lunch often. The conversation is smooth. I like him, but he's holding back and I'm not sure how (& if I should) get through to him

He's older than me, maybe by 8 years. I'm in my mid-30s. I can't ask him outright if he has a girlfriend or ask him out. I don't think he'd know how to answer - we don't know each other that well, & I'm new to the company (he's been there for about a year and a half)

How can I get this guy to open up? How do I talk to someone who may be hiding his real feelings for me (or not)? How can see if it can go somewhere?

(They have had no car accidents before, on their entire life, so I have no reason to dream this)

didn't help much. I have seen alot of people voting for themselves as best answer, does this break any rules. I've never done it, but how does Yahoo monitor people that do that? Is that cheating? I know level 7 people that to that, how can they be reported if this is cheating. I don't think it is fair. If it is okay to vote yourself as best answer can you be reported for it. How do you report someone for doing this if it violates Y'ans guidlines. The TOS really doesn't explain it. So can you vote for yourself or not? If not I need to report alot of people.

I was just reading an article online about how rampant type 2 diabetes in the US is. My uncle actually has type 1 (insulin-dependent diabetes which used to be referred to as 'juvenile diabetes' but adults albeit rare can get type 1 as well) and my aunt on the other side of the family has type 2 ('adult onset' but kids who are overweight can get it as well).

The article mentioned that potatoes, namely fries as the example was when asked by the fast food worker 'if you want fries with that' to say no due to the high glycemic index (which tends to make the blood sugar quickly spike and then drop which can put one in more danger of type 2 diabetes). I love potatoes btw :) It also mentioned that white bread has a high glycemic index as well and that those simple carbs, that tend to spike the blood sugar high and then plummet can put someone at risk for type 2 diabetes. It got me very worried, and I'd like to make a (com)pact with myself and whomever wants to join :) Thanks

American do not only drive large SUV's , and gas guzzlers, That is all GM builds. Many years ago they suppressed the Rotary Engine after buying the rights.
Prediction: Don't wait for them to come out with a competitive electric car.

i use a shampoo called organix soft and silky its supposed to make your hair smooth and silky but lately its been really dry and i use a deep conditioner its tresemme butwen i wash my hair it feels soft in the shower but wen it dries it feels dry. help. i would like some home remediess like oil treatments etc.

I got terminated from my job because I ran out of Sick Hours and PTO Hours. I called in because I have a medical condition, and when I came back to work, my manager suspended me for a week without giving me a chance to explain why I was sick. After my suspension, I was told to come back to work because I had to meet my manager and HR.When I got there, right in front of me was my termination letter.

Before signing the termination paper, I told them about my medical condition which is on their records because I had surgery done on it during my 1st year of employment and this is a recurring medical condition. I had proof of medical records from my doctor, but they REFUSED to see it because they said it was already "TOO LATE" for anything to happen. They had to continue with the termination. They didn't even give me a chance to explain and show proof that I was sick.

Do you guys think this is discrimnation based on disability, and should I take legal action for wrongful termination?

My lymph node on the right side under my jaw is swollen and extremely sore along with the back of my neck when swallowing. I do have an abscess that I discovered a few days ago and am on antibiotics. It has not drained as of yet or burst and cant get in to see a dentist for 3 days should there be any concern? Or are the antibiotics good enough until I can see the dentist in preventing any serious spreading or complications? How long does it take for complications to begin? Any help would be greatly appreciated the abscess is upper mouth right side and the back two teeth and possibly gumline.....
