The theme from Gone With the Wind...Tara's Theme, also called MY OWN TRUE LOVE. It was OUR song..for 3 years, 1962- 1965.

My wife and I don't have any 'OUR SONG.' But we started dating back in the spring of '68...I do know she liked the sound track from the Good, the Bad and the Ugly for some reason. I had an 8-track with it on it and when we went from Virginia to Ohio after we got married, we played that a lot.

Not sure about the year, but we both loved Nat King Cole's music. Both he and Doris Day recorded renditions of "When I Fall In Love". That song was my favorite at that time and will probably be forever.

We didn't have a favorite song per se. It was the late 60's early 70's and all the songs were good back then. Don't remember one specific one.

"Hang Down you Head Tom Dooley." My first love was going back to boarding school, and oh we were so in love, and this seemed like the end of the world for both of us. After the summer holidays. We went out for 5 years after that.

We did not listen to the radio much as he has hundreds of cds. everything from oldies,Monkees,Beatles and such. At our wedding dance my husband requested unchained melody as our song. We were only married a little over 2 years ago. Found him late in life. but glad I did.
