Yesterday my son (age 9) had an Old Navy credit card with a lady's name on it. I asked him where he got it and he said that Kyle gave two to Steven so Steven gave one to him. That Kyle had more of them and he was giving them to his friends.
I explained to him that it was a real credit card and that someone probably stole them. I told him that if he ever got caught with stolen credit cards he could be in trouble with the law. I told him to never take anything like this from a friend again.
It was 9pm, but I was worried that Kyle's parents (or Grandmother) didn't know what was going on, so I went to their house. The Grandmother answered the door. I asked her if she knew the lady owning the card - no, but she knows a kid with that last name. I told her that Aaron had the card and said that Kyle had more. I said, "I thought you might want to know so you can explain to him that he could get in trouble if they are stollen cards".
