oh definitely a cricket, advantage= speed and movement.
caterpillar can't do anything to defend against cricket... but cricket is a real lightweight, so Im pretty sure that would be a pretty boring fight.
better fight might be Red Army Ants vs. Grasshopper or Preying Mantis.

Why not give it a try. Crickets and caterpillars are common. Catch one of each and see how they react.
