Is it just me, or are the standards for music and performing higher in The Philippines than it is in the US? I'm not an expert b/c I don't live there but it seems to me that

1. music shows/contests in the philippines have fantastic singers while music shows/contests in the states have just a few great singers but mostly average ones? And the shows/contests manage to lure in an audience without being completely ridiculous or condescending to the contestants like most shows in the US?

2. they don't just hand anyone a record deal over there the way they do in the US.

Maybe I'm wrong. Like I said, I'm no expert. What do you think?

I purchased a round trip ticket from LAX to Bangkok. I used this ticket to fly to Bangkok. I'm happy in Thailand and want to stay longer. The airline is Thai Airways. (According to Cheap Tickets I have to pay a fee of $180 (approximately) to modify this ticket. Can I change my ticket without paying and additional fees?

how do i enable flash player in my psp slim? im not dumb, but there is NO ENABLE FLASH PLAYER option under the system settings so dont give me a **** of links of step-by-step tutorials. i have 3.71 official firmware. i tried restoring it to default settings but the option didnt appear. i bought this on bestbuy. although it has the ENABLE WMA PLAYBACK option. anyone care to help?

I prefer American. I am an American, I want to support the workers that are working here on the home front so hard to give us the products that are the lifeline of our modern society.

I have nothing against Japanese cars, but I really don't believe they're as good as believed to be. They're good at making more fuel-efficient cars, which there is a large market for in America, but Honda is the only Japanese brand I trust in terms of dependability and comfort.

Korean cars...suck. As for European cars, they're uber-expensive to repair, and the only Euro brand I'd trust for reliability is Volvo.

I have a Dodge Intrepid with 212,000 miles; I put an average of 20,000 miles a year on that thing. The "check engine" light has stayed on for the last 20,000 miles, but me, my dad, and my mechanic (who is a darn good one, at that) can't even find anything wrong. It's running in tip-top condition, looks nice on the outside, very comfortable--I may just "drive it into the ground."

I have 2 kids , 7 and 5 , they have different dads, I split up with the 7yr olds dad while I was pregnant with him and met someone eles while he was a young baby. hes grown up thinking his stepdad is his dad, when he was nearly 2 i had my 2nd child with his step dad , a couple of years ago we split up , and my ex has both kids (occasionly ) and they still dont know they have different dads,
my son is only 7 and so far Its not seemed right to explain yet as he hasnt even approached the birds and the bees and so I felt that he may not fully understand the biological part and end up confused , hurt ..... rejected feeling .
but my ex has now boldly decided that its time to tell him and basically if I dont now he will .
so how do I approach this with a 7yr old , The one thought so far is with drawing up a family tree together ... I dont want to make it into a big deal , so he feels like hes ment to react as hes only 7 ,just slowly introduce the idea of him having 2 dads to build on !

I have been married for 5 yrs, together 8. My husband basically ignores all my needs. He is a car salesman and uses this as an excuse to be gone ALL the time to bars. After work I expect him home and he comes home about 5+ hrs late usually drunk and cocky. He always things he is "all that" and makes false claims of how much "money he makes'. Reminding me that "you don't make that much in a month what I make in a day!" Which isn't even true! When he is home he is on the phone for hours talking and never gives our son and I any time. He has "friends" as he calls them calling here and he talks about them and I have no idea who they even are. He goes to so many bars and meets all these people he is giving our home phone out to. We never have sex. He talks down to me constantly calls me names and basically traps me in this apartment. He spends so much money we don't have going out like a teenager. This man is 40. I am sick of it and can't stand it anymore. Does he even love or need me?

well, for one thing, these Bible-fundies haven't proven that fact to be untrue. they always go around protesting with everything Catholics do.

8:30 - vodka martinis
8:55 - drunken pillow fight
9:15 - facials and pedicures
10:00 - warm milk before bed... those are just a few of the mega fun things we'll do at my sleepover.

It will only be me and him, and maybe my friend Ashley.
