I'm caught in the middle of serious problems with my husband's mother. He is the only child of divorced parents and was raised by his mother. She is very controling and has had a hard time letting her son move on to adult life. Before my husband and I met he purchased a condo and allowed his mother to do most of the paperwork. She loaned him $30k for a downpayement. For the past 3 years she has been mailing in the mortgage payments on his behalf. Now that we are married (5 months) I've been demanding that we need to take control of our payments and I refuse to allow us to keep sending her a "rent check" for our own mortgage each month. This has caused a huge backlash from her. We had a huge fight at her house where I told her off - which was not a good idea but I've had enough of her contoling ways. Now my husband is mad at me for disrespecting his mother and his mother is trying to convince him to leave me!?! How can I get my husband to put me first????

First, check out this photo;

I don't understand. In this particular place like Iraq, the outdoor environment is desert, so the soldiers need to wear the camo uniform that has tan color.

But clearly, this uniform is a lot more bright and even has an ability to gain the attention.

This is not a camouflage. Why does the army make their soliders to wear this camo uniform?

Why are you downcast, O my soul?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.

What does it mean?

I have always used a wire whip for the task (repeatedly smashing the whip downward). But, of course, that's not what the tool is meant for. So...I'm curious as to what others use (maybe a potato masher), and if there is indeed a tool specifically designed for the task.

My fiance had a dream about dead bodies. He said that they were packaged into those vacuum sealable bags that you see on tv advertisements sometimes.

He said that they were in these boxes (That looked like the boxes that candy comes in when your selling it for fund raisers - we had these boxes in our high school) and he said that he stole them from somewhere (A morg or something) and wanted to collect them!

He said that one of the guys that he works with went to his house and wanted to check it out, but my fiance had removed the bodies from the boxes....

He said he woke up in the middle of the night in a panic!!!
What the heck could this mean??(Should I worry?? lol?)

Many states have exemptions to allow parents to not have their children vaccinated on the grounds that it conflicts with their religion, and many religions do have legitimate objections to having children vaccinated, or against other forms of medical treatment. However what are your opinions on the growing number of parents who are claiming this exemption solely to avoid having their children vaccinated due to concerns that have nothing to do with religion. For example that vaccinations increase the chances of autism, that they may cause their children to get sick, or they frankly just don't believe they have any effect good or bad.
Are these people selfish, by putting themselves, their children and society at risk for outbreaks of diseases that vaccinations have for the most part erradicated? Or are these people exercising their legitimate rights to freedom of choice and the freedom from an overly intrusive government?

My fiance did. It was casual although it turned out she didn't know it was casual. I didn't care that I was 'stealing' her boyfriend. In fact, I found it amusing when she didn't clue in that a two month relationship (what they had) wasn't serious just because they were sleeping together. I was some what involved with someone else too. I'm sure I'm not the only one who 'stole' their love, so anyone else?

My husband lies to me, it's never anything really huge, but it is affecting my trust. He says that his ex calls him to go out for a beer, but he called her...little things like this, he started a fake email address, when I asked, he lied. I catch him and then he tells me truth (I think). I don't think that I can trust him anymore, I'm losing respect for him, and it's like I am waiting for him to screw up again. When someone lies about the little things, is that warning signals for the future? We've only been married 2 years, no kids.

It is funny, there is no difference between an atheist and a Christian. They both put their faith into something.
