she can have the Pay Days and Mary Jane candys.
screw the candy corn.... unless you want to make the candy corn look like teeth on her. Glue them to her gums and then take a pic of her smiling. that would be funny.

Maybe you should get a good baby book and do a little reading about infant feeding guidelines for this age group, or ask your pediatrician. Any of them will tell you, a six-month-old should ONLY be getting breastmilk, (or formula), and maybe cereal, fruits and veggies IF she is ready for solids. There is no reason on earth to be feeding a baby candy, or anything with added sugar, preservatives, or artificial coloring for that matter. You would be endangering your child's health to begin feeding her candy at six months old. Why would you want to give it to her anyways? She doesn't know what she is missing and won't care...There will be plenty of Halloweens in the future for her to gorge on candy and make herself sick. Why start now? So in a word, NO, it is not okay for her to eat Halloween candy.

Let her suck on a gummy worm or a baby teething cracker. Lifesaver gummies or a sucker might be okay as well. Depending on her eating habits at home will depend on what kind of candy she can have. If you are going trick or treating with her, just save the other candy for a couple months (or enjoy it yourself). If you feel a certain piece of candy is ok, make sure there arent any peanuts in there or any other potential allergy- related things.
Last halloween, we bought two halloween bags, one for trick or treating and one to switch it with when our 2yr old (now 3) got home filled with candy I felt was appropriate to span out for a couple days, put the rest in a candy dish to be shared with those who could eat it. (allergies)

No, way, honey! She should only be having very little baby food at this point. Most people don't start any food at all (this is whats recommended) till the baby turns 6 months, so any candy would be a huge no no!

I really hope this question is a joke. If its not, I wonder about all the other decisions you are making for your child.
I wouldn't even feed my son anything other than breast milk until he was almost 7 months old (which is what teh AAP recommends) and here you are wanting to provide a potential choking hazard and allow your child to be exposed to foods that WILL cause her pancreas to hate her for the rest of her life.
What benefit could this have for your daughter? Feeding her candy is to satisfy your desires, not her and that makes you selfish. Please think about what is best for her...If you are even slightly intellegent, you will realize this is a BAD move.

Only the hard rock type candy. Nothing worse than seeing a 6 month old gum and drool a Reese's peanut butter cup. Just nasty.

Why would you want to give a 6 month old candy? She has no idea what is even going on, so why bother.

The longer you can keep your child off of junk food the better. There is no reason to give a 6 month old candy. She is actually too young to trick or treat...if you take her, it's for YOU not HER.

If the baby has teeth, a teeny tiny taste probably wouldn't hurt but why would you even want to give a kid that young candy?

no way, most doctors will say to START introducing solid foods at 6months, meaning mashed table food or jarred food. introducing candy is a whole different department and could cause adverse affects on your daughter, like getting the poops(which can lead to dehydration) or getting high sugar levels. Its really not a good idea.
