AT LONG LAST someone with a shred of decency in the Police Force.

Yes kamran. Two sources. My point is AT LAST ONE of them has the decency to come clean and say "NO evidence" instead of being a sheep and following his leaders. I think he may turn out to be the "whistleblower".

Yes I know they have said since September 7th that they DO have evidence. Numerous leaks to this effect. MY POINT IS... AT LAST Someone has had the decency to be honest and admit "NO EVIDENCE"

"A police source, who was described as "responsible", told the Portuguese newspaper 24Horas..."

So the PJ haven't admitted anything, a source has told another newspaper and the Daily Mail are quoting them - is that right?

What makes this news so different to the other daily reports NOT in favour of the McCanns that all supporters normally refuse to believe.

What makes this headline suddenly credible, when all others were utter rubbish?

People have been convicted before on circumstancial evidence.Like the guy who years ago buried is wife in road construction concrete, she was never found he is serving life. The MCanns are not yet free of their tormentors and most likely will have to return to Portugal for further questions. It isnt a question of Police decency they can only decide on the evidence they have and their is many inconsistencies in this case.

So who says this headline is truer than any other that has been reported and published in the last 5 months....
It is still all speculation until the full hard evidence story is told and police files are forensics results are revealed.....
Open mind til then....

This is why I've said all along. I will believe they have evidence when they arrest the McCanns.

To all of you out there that say they do have evidence. Carry on dreaming, the first bit of evidence would lead to an arrest.

"A police source, who was described as "responsible", told the Portuguese newspaper 24Horas that, in truth, there is still insufficient evidence to formally accuse the McCanns of any wrongdoing. "

INSUFFICENT is not the same as NONE.

Plus the description of this source as 'responsible' I would question as he seems to have a direct line to the Daily Mail.

Why are the McCanns not asking how the evidence got in the boot rather than saying it's not there. Maybe following that line they could trace the murderer of their daugther.

But they have also said they do have evidence, what is so different about this particular article and source that qualifies it to be the truth and not pure speculation like the other 100s of reports from the same paper? Just out of interest. I don't want to be argumentative about it I am just really interested to know why you chose to believe the paper today and not last week?

About time someone in the police over there was honest and not political.

Now read it properly - then post back - TWO SOURCES - one says YES one says NO.

Hardly a convincing argument you put up to release the McCann burden. Have you ever thought that this may be the papers way of 'removing' it's own screw ups to stop any civil actions being taken - can you honestly say that you believe all that you read.

ADDED: To your point - last sentence of your comments - WHO has come forward and said NO EVIDENCE - Name him, show him - NO EVIDENCE TO SAY ANYONE HAS COME FORWARD TO SAY THIS - WAKE UP & smell the coffee - SELLING PAPERS - HELLO - Knock knock - anyone home!!!!!

So a leak isn't a leak, it is truth, when it is something you want to here.

Right then....
