Prostitution in some form or other is prevalent in our society for ages and it can not be totally stopped. It can be regularised more than legalised. Before penalising the concerned it is better to go into the back-ground of the situation and if the act is with willful concent of each other, how can it be stopped !

Yes it should be legalised. But while legalising it should be taken care of it should be in the favour of women who are engage in this business so they should not exploited. I would also like to change the word which is used for ladies or PROSTITUTE. WE should be give some respectable name to this profession as we know in India most of female adapt this business under some reverse conditions. For me they are prostitutes who push the women into this flesh business.

Our politicians and our Government will not allow to become legalised and they are enjoying the maximum benefits of this profession than the actual persons. Especially Police people are making a good money and enjoy their company without any expenditure. Yours

I learnt that in some rich country it is treated as business& government has legalised the proffesion.i think they r rich & educated country & anybody in this proffesion know well & take adequate precautions. Not under pressure done.
But in India This proffesion is adoped due to illitresy /hunger/underageworker/uder presure&gundiasm.
So how we can think in India to legalised it.

human trafficking/slavery is, to me, the primary issue.
I'd rather see more emphasis put on ending this travesty; if that means ignoring voluntary individual proprietors, so be it - let's nab the big fish first.
