giving my child gas and putting my child under terrifies me. i want her to be healthy and have great teeth but is it necessary to do this while my child is so young? my child is 7. Do any of you have any experiences with this? my child will not cooperate with the dentist because my child is scared. Could i wait til my child is a little older and more cooperative? putting even an adult under is dangerous. what do you know?

The media is hyping up these shootings like they have never gone on before one can only wonder if a gun grabbing president will be "elected" in '08?

ok, so I'm 22 years old and have always been outspoken (im a leo...). but recently I have experienced backlash because im condisdered 'aggressive'...this bothers me because i feel that if i am not forward, i get trampled over (in all instances! men, work, friends, society)...so why is it okay for a man to be forthright and opinionated, but it is not acceptable for me to be vocal and constructive in my communication with people? I would love to read feedback regarding this... Thanks!

I think Kate accidently overdosed her child on non-prescribed sedatives which sadly killed her. The fact that she left a child this young on her own while she went out partying speaks a lot of her as a person. In Britain social services would be contacting her in such a situation as it is illegal and amoral for a parent.

Her profile as a snappy, self satisfied and impatient doctor who has shown no genuine emotion all along makes her the main suspect in my mind. On all her television apperances and photographs over the months she tends to look down and away from the camera, as does her husband. Many behavioural experts say this is a common subconscous reaction from someone who is guilty or lying.

Still there is not likely to be enough evidence so she will walk free. What do the rest of you think?

hey, i am having a lot of trouble with a question on latitudes/longitudes and distances travelled.

i know the latitude and longitude of 2 points on earth.
apparently, early navigators could only determine their latitude, so they tended to sail to the desired latitude then head east or west.

suppose i do this travelling from plymouth (latitude 50° 47' N, longitude 4° 05' W) to miami beach (latitude 25° 47' N, longitude 80° 17' W)

so i head south from 50° to 25° then head west. i worked this out as being 6050 nautical miles, could somebody tell me if this is correct??

but anyway, the main problem i have is, what if i headed west first from the more northerly point, then turned and headed south, would this be the same distance??????

thinking about it, i'd say its a shorter route, but i dont know how to back this up with calculations. can anybody give me a hand with this??
cheers

REMEMBER WHEN:

: Radio was the drum.....when you listened to hear new music... when radio cuts changed every few months?

: The music was written in the spirit of wonderment?

: The power of music invaded your body making you move from the inside out, making you feel powerful?

: We bought records and went to the show to get closer, to the unadulterated truth, the unadulterated power?

: That one record could change your whole day, inspire you and soothe your wounds?

: When people wanted something real, something they could hang on to, something that could help them through life?

: M usic T ele V ision was ALL about the Music?

: It wasn't just about commercialism, advertising or endorsements?

: Music was more than a revenue generator or more than a name on a list of SoundScan winners?

: It wasn't all about the production or the extravaganza... it was about the MUSIC! and The music was ENOUGH!

I moved to America when I was 2, I am 16 now.. And I wanna go back to Britain because I dont wanna be here anymore. I never wanted to move anyway. We moved over here because my dad got in trouble with social services, and we basically ran away from them. None of my family knows why we came here. My dad is abusive now, and so is my mom. She said we cant go back atleast until im 18, because I havent finished high school here, so the school wouldnt let me stay.

She wont let me move in with my real dad. Should I tell my grandprents and dad what happend? And would moving effect my schooling in england? What should I do?!

My now ex husband decided he was not happy after ten years of marriage, had an affair and left. We have a ten year old son who lives with me and visits his Dad every other weekend. My ex usually did the disciplining. Our son has been acting out lately and having trouble in school. My ex is full of advice on how to handle things. The problem is I am the one who ends up dealing with the bad behaviour, extra homework, etc. It is just so frustrating and seems so unfair! My ex seems to want to help but in all reality - what can he do? We have separate lives now. He made choices that resulted in us barely speaking or seeing each other. We talk only when it is absolutely necessary. How do you raise a child like this?

Does anyone know where I might find one?

I really would like to own an R7, but I have no idea where to look.

How much do you think it would cost?
I'm guessing it would be very expensive but i'd still like to see.
