Definitely Tequila. I get really stupid when I drink that. When I was in Korea, it was Soju.

My least rational actions tend to occur when I have been awake for three or four days on a drinking bender.

I have a collection of road signs, a busted chair, a shopping cart and one time an entire mailbox acquired during these periods.

I have also apparently spent several hours arguing passionately for the need to outfit waterfowl with protective kevlar vests, railing about various government conspiracies, or trying to convince people that humans evolved from wombats.

I once laughed myself into painful paroxysms of paralysis over a mention of someone baking buns.

You don't want to know what I've woken up next to (although they all started out looking nearly as lovely as you).

Yes. Much irrationality.

I think I need to get more irrational. Thankfully the weekend fast approaches.

It's not a "what" for me, it's a "who."

It's my 12-year-old step daughter, who, after I've just imparted some small, simple wisdom to her, rolls her eyes and says condescendingly, "That doesn't make any sense."

Sometimes I'll ask her a few days later if she has thought about what I said, and she's say "No," in such a way that it's clear that she thinks I am a moron.

Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrggghhhhhhhhh.

hmmm. Hate. I try to be non-attached, but it pains me to see just plain hate and it does sometimes invoke a similar, although not as vile, reaction from me.

Along the same lines is ignorance, which often leads to hate.
