Need to know if this is a good card. I plan on geting this card because i only can fit agp slots in my pc. So geting this plus 2 more gigs of ram(3 gigs all together). (will cost me about $300).I have a amd athlon 64 3400+ with xp.

I plan on upgrading my pc but dont have the money now to do it---plan on geting intel core 2 duo($270), mother board(150), memory(100-200), geforce 8800 gts or gtx or ultra(300-600), possably a new power supply, case, and some other little stuff like fans and so on. LIke to get a 22'' monitor but that will have to wait. Um, very costly. Sooo ..

Need to know if the geforce 7950 can handle newer games like call of duty 4, quake wars, and battle field, and so on. Im sure it can handle it but realy dont want to bring down the graphics to LOW. I dont need a card to last me for years just for a little while. thx thx thx

Insidious Demons

An empty darkness is creeping in
Surrounding and suffocating me
Like a heavy blanket; a merciless fog
I feel it clawing at my flesh
Pulling at my soul
It won’t give up; I won’t give in
To this swirl of emptiness rising within

It is a thing eating at me
Wearing me down
Exposing what I hold inside
Tearing away my mask
In a black rage like fire
Its thick smoke chokes me

As thick dark blood
Oozes from unhealing wounds
The deep cut of the knife
That reveals the empty soul beneath

That heavy unnerving presence
Hangs close like a dark cloud
Imprisoned by its bars
I am held by the darkness
It kills all hope and aspiration
As quick as the rain swept candle dies

It is black oil that seeps into my bones
It’s a strangling vine entwining my soul with emptiness
And squeezing life from my heart
It plants its heavy hopeless seeds
Deep into the pit of my being


I feel nausea sweep through me
In a cloud of mind-numbing dizziness
It whispers of all things sour
I feel its arms drape over me like a thick curtain
Its face looms above like a dark shadow
And I cannot run for it finds me
It runs me down like a monstrous beast
Invading my sleep in feverish nightmares
Crushing and cramping till my breath runs short
All around me it twists and twirls like a cyclone
Howling in despair of the soul it must capture
And I cannot escape this frenzy of emotion
This emptiness, this sorrow, this cold lonely fear
That I am not in control
That I am just a pawn
The first sacrifice, that I am nothing
With no soul, no life, no choice

Could the light ever reach me?
In the darkness of hell?
Could it ever bring the sunshine
To my weary soul
Or am I doomed forever
Captured by the demons
That have devoured all that was dear
All that was once in my heart
All that was good and pure
Is now a distant memory
A fantasy I hold

recently my wife (who is an immigrant) and i went to eat and drink at a hard rock cafe.

upon ordering our alcoholic drinks and presenting our id, the bar tender stated that my wife's greencard is not an acceptable form of id.

of course after some bickering a littlre, we left.

i looked up the state alcohol sales rules and regs and it clearly states that a greencard is an acceptable form of id for alcohol sales.

i emailed the manager and i got a response back stating that they are aware of the rules but they have chosen not to accept greencards at that establishment as a valid form of id.

the manager went on to say that they accept passports, state issued id, and drivers license.

i asked specifically why they do not accept greencards and no response is given, the manager just ignores the question or gives the response "we just don't accept them".

think this is bias against immigrants?

i have about 3 visa/mastercards and a couple department stores cards all with about 400-800 on each..i just got a preapproved offer for another MC with 0% balance transfer until dec 08 and i wanted to consolidate..if i accept how much will this affect my credit score...i am also trying to get a used car loan now, so i don't want it mess things up....PLEASE HELP.

We just bought a miniature toy poodle for 300.00
He hadn't yet been to a vet, no shots and no papers. He is 10 weeks old. We have to get him to a vet....But aren't his shots way over due? I'm thinking he should of at least had those first shots by now. He is adorable apricot color.... Just wondered about those shots. Don't they usually get them at 5 weeks of age?
