Hi, about 10 years ago i was arrested for burglary. I was under 18 at the time. I was never fingerprinted and i never went before a judge. I had a meeting with a counselor who decided that i should do community service and pay restitution. Does that mean that i am convicted in the "employment application" sense?

Cheetahs are unique because they combine physical traits of two distinctly different animal families: dogs and cats. They belong to the family of cats, but they look like long-legged dogs. They sit and hunt like dogs. They can only partially retract their claws, like dogs instead of cats. Their paws are thick and hard like dogs. They contract diseases that only dogs suffer from. The light-colored fur on their body is like the fur of a shorthaired dog. However, to climb trees they use the first claw on their front paws in the same way that cats do. In addition to their dog only diseases, they also get cat only ones. And the black spots on their bodies are, inexplicably, the texture of cat’s fur.

Genetic tests have been done on them and the surprising result was that in the 50 specimens tested, they were all, every one genetically identical with all the others.

Does anybody have any ideas which would explain cheetahs' genetic uniformity?

Hi there, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I currently have a couple that is moving out of my rental property and I received a phone call from the new prospective landlord. One of the questions that he asked was "do they smoke?" Now I live here too; its a triplex. So I told the new landlord that yes one of them smoke (as I do as well) but I advised the landlord that there is children here so we all smoke outside. The landlord called them to tell them that they couldnt rent to them based on the fact that they smoke. I know a landlord can say no smoking inside the unit but can they refuse to rent to someone based on the personal choice to smoke?

I'm not incredibly worried or anything, but I'm just wondering why my cat is so on edge all of a sudden. He spent today at the vets, where he was given an anaesthetic to have dental treatment. I brought him home at 6pm, and since then (it's now 12.30am) he's been acting as he would as though he'd seen a mouse, sitting as though waiting to pounce, and just basically sniffing all around the same area (last time he saw a mouse, he was over it in about 5 seconds, so I doubt he actually has!). He just seems to be on tenterhooks, and hasn't slept at all, which is what I thought he'd be doing all night after the anaesthetic! Could there be any reason for this relating to what he's had done today? Like I said, I'm not WORRIED as I'm sure he's just had a stressful day! Just wondering if there's a reason. He seems fine other than the fact that he just won't settle at all.

I am having trouble with complex #'s .

I have three problems.. for one of them I have the answer ; however I don't know how to do the work for any of them.


#1 .
Problem:
(2 - 3i)/(3 + 4i)

Answer: -6/25 - (17/25)i

I recently found out that my husband's x-wife bought a bunch of stuff in my husband's name when he was deployed in the middle east. She never paid on any of it. Now, 7 years later, I am married to him (he is in Iraq again) and the collection agencies are calling me. I paid off the first one that called but now I dont have any money left for the rest of them. What happens if I cant pay them? Can they sue me since it is in my husband's name (remember my husband is not in the country)? Can they take my car other possesions (which are in my name, not my husbands)? What is the worst that can happen and how long do I have before it happens? HELP!

I think that the bump and run that Jeff Gordon put on Dale Jr. this past Saturday night is just one way of letting him know that he may be working for him, but he's not giving any of his wins up! Jeff even told his spotter that he didn't want to race that 8 car all night!
I know that part of this is do to the chase, but HMS now has three great drivers with three large egos that are going to haft to be fed!
Dale Jr. was hired by HMS for one reason and one reason only, he's a money maker with that large fan base.
I'd give anything to be at the meeting where they discuss who's going to concentrate on winning which races next year!!! Poor old Casey Mears is bound to get left out!
I see a lot of problems coming, but an even a higher level of domination by HMS next year!!!
Can Ricky H. keep all these guys from running over each other?
It should be fun!

I'm a pretty skinny guy. I'm only 16, and weigh around 115-120. I'm trying to get bigger muscles in my upper arms/forearms and my abs, or at least put some healthy weight on so I'm not such a small guy. At least four times a day, I will do 30+ pull ups, 20+ push ups, and lift 16 lb. freewieghts in each hand 50 times all in a row. Then I'll do about 50 sit ups. Since doing this for about a week, there has been no visible change. Anyone know what I can do to get some sort of positive visible change within the next 2 weeks? I'm not sure if any weight gainers or muscle supplements would be healthy for me, and I'm open to trying new excercise routines and eating habits. (Oh this might be important too, because I think I have a really high metabolism becaseu i can eat and eat all sorts of food and I dont put on any weight.) Thanks!

When I am driving, especially at night, it is hard to see. My current glasses were in my purse that was stolen. The glasses I am now using are about 7 years old (I'm 50 years old). While we are trying to get a handle on the income and expenses for our business, we have someone helping us and she says I need to wait 6 months before I do anything. There is no guarantee that in 6 months I would have the go ahead. The LASIK would be about $250 to $300 per month, interest free, for 12 months.

I almost ran a red light a couple of nights ago since I couldn't see well. This is a NEED, not a want. I don't want everyone angry with me but waiting is not an option.

I am not a child and I know what I need. They just don't understand the need or they just discount it. What is your opinion about defying everyone and getting the LASIK while my husband is out of town for 10 days?
