i'm thinking about a Razor.

I just got a phone from at&t a couple weeks ago too. I don't know what you should get. I guess a razor is good, but be careful on what deals you make because my mom got one for me and then during the signing of the contract, they said that they would give us back like 30% of my $300 phone in the rebate, but when the first month's bill came, they said that the month's bill was based on three days. And that they had to add other costs and stuff. Anyway, it was really confusing and ugly, but in all, they took all the rebate money back, so we didn't save any money at all. Be careful. I got t-mobile before and it was really clear and stuff in the bill, so be careful on which companies you pick.

there is no one correct answer to this, other then, whatever phone suites you best.
The BEST thing to do, is to go into the store and actually hold and use the test phones in the store.
Also you have 30 days to test the phone that you do decide on, if you don't like it, take it back and get another one.

defenitely not the iphone, it's way too expensive and they say it has all kind of defects, bad reception, very low volume on the speaker etc,etc.the razr would be good
