I want a scarification sidepiece, most likely floral, but not definitely.
Any suggestions as to what flowers, or whether to do something else entirely are appreciated.

shes an indoor cat,so i dont how she got them.ive given her a flea bath a couple times myself(which is damn near impossible to do since she doesnt cooperate at all) and also took her in for a professional flea bath.i vaccumed the heck out of the house as well.i only see the fleas on her,i havent seen them anywhere else.she has the little flea poops in her hair(shes a long haired cat) and little red blood marks on some spots of her body.i just put a flea collar on her today.i want to get rid of these things quick and inexpensively so she doesnt get sick or something.shes miserable and always scratching,i try to pick them off her if i see them,but so far nothing is completely doing the trick.im starting to get annoyed and also concerned for my cats health.any ideas,shoot!

I recently immigrated to the US. I have two red-foot-tortoises in my home country and I want to bring my pets over here. I didn't know that they would survive in here, California, but last week in a pet store, I saw some red-foot-tortoises. I guess they can adapt to this weather. Thanks for any input.

The personalities in my classroom are all over the place this year. I had been warned previously by other teachers that the students that I was receiving had personality conflicts. That is a mild way to put it.
I have tried some team building activities in my classroom, but they insist on fighting or complaining about each other. The students are 4-5 grade. They really do not see the need to get along and they are creating havoc in the classroom everyday. It is like putting out a million little fires a day.
Is there a way to help the students recognize in a kind way that we are all in this together and the better we work together, the better our year will be.
I don't expect a utopian society, but I would like a little civil behavior. Please help!

I'm in a devoted relationship right now, and I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. The problem is, even though they know I'm in a relationship, I have a lot of guys and men of various ages at work and at school that are attracted to me, and I hate it. I don't do anything to attract their attention and everyone knows I'm in a relationship, but they seem to disregard the fact and continue to try anyway, like it's a game. I'm only 17, and most of the time it's significantly older men in their mid-twenties. This is really bothering both my boyfriend and I, and I want it to stop for both our sakes. Any advice?

i am 18 yrs old and recently lost my virginity (about a year ago). now in the yr 2007, i have been pregnant two times. the first time i got an abortion (parents didnt know) and the 2nd time, i had a miscarriage (parents didnt know). i have never used birth control. call me stupid but my parents are not the type to tell me that i need to be safe if i am sexually active. they are the type of parents that say "you better not have sex!!" but in reality, it was bound to happen. i am 18 yrs old and have a boyfriend so it is a possibility of us having sex. but my parents are in denial of us having sex. i am human and it is likely for teens to have sex. so is the reason i have been pregnant 2 times this yr. my parents fault because they did not educate me on birth control???

Mutafyan against genocide resolution

Patriarch of Turkish Armenians Mesrob Mutafyan II spoke against the resolution on the alleged “Armenian genocide” which is expected to be voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives. “We are concerned that this resolution will affect lives of Armenian citizens in Turkey. We are against it,” he said yesterday. Mutafyan, added that he would write U.S. authorities in an effort to prevent the adoption of the resolution.

Hi, I've been writing this manga titled "Ronin Yoshino" and I wanted to know if a real mangaka (like someone who is doing it for fun or a living) or a place where I can show my manga to to get a critique? I don't mean for this to be overly-provocative--a two state solution in Israel with some sort of international arbitration over high holy sites is clearly in the best interests of world peace. But something tells me that part of the reason this is being encouraged by the US at this juncture is because the West is going to try to build a coalition against Iran, and it would be bad if Israel could be used as a negative rallying point (particularly if Israeli bases/the Israeli military had to be used in the event of military operations--this would really polarize potential Arab allies, including the very important Gulf Arab states which have no interest in seeing Iran become a major local theocratic power). I really think instability over the oil fields of Iraq, internal dissent, and Pan-Islamic rhetoric could result in a terrible conflict in the region with Iran right at the center of the storm--given a chance, that state could be worse for the world than Nazi Germany.

My partner is on minimum wage, we have a baby son and I'm not working due to childcare issues.

We really need some help - we are struggling so badly for money (we have £2 left to last the week on!), we need to buy things for the baby and also my partner is desperately trying to find a way to pay for his training expenses so he can hopefully get out of min wage work and into something better paid.

We're not eligible for the limited help the Government offer - its all for single mums and the unemployed. We can't get a Career Development loan as we have a poor credit rating. The ILA is only £100 for someone who is working (even if low paid) and his training costs would be £500.

I feel ashamed to be reduced to this - I am educated but have never found my degree helped me get a job and we are getting desperate.

Which charities might be prepared to help a young couple (not a single mum) who are working and not scrounging but are just not being given a break?
